Hello AFN !

hi , I have been on here a while now and im gunna start a journal of the current situation in my hobbyist horticultural area !

I have learnt many things on AFN from other members grows ect and thought it was selfish not to share a knowledge to hopefully learn others and obviously learn more myself from the great gardeners on here.

i start this journey as goes........

Area : 4ft x 3ft

Method : NFT

Lighting : mars reflector 96 + mars ll 400 + sunblaster T5's

Nutes : ( Main ) House&Garden Aqua Flakes Grow / Bloom , Green label nutrients Calmag + and homemade silica .
Supplements : lots of things i will share more about further in .


I thought long and hard about what i could do in my small space to help me have different grows on incase i messed up 1 which i have painfully done a few times and not to be done again !!!!!!!!!! i figured i could i run a 4 way grow in this area with sg225 trough / gully cut to size an sitting over 2 garland titan garden trays as a res.

this pic is how i have it currently running , the furthest on the right here are 2 shortstuff auto big guns , today is chop day for them . ( day 67 on nft tray )

In the middle are 2 shortstuff auto purple amnesia together

and on the left are a medicann kush fromage auto ( front ) and next to it at back is a fastbuds six shooter auto .

nft tray afterwards , i have the rockwool cubes sitting on some cut up brick guard so there not completley submerged with the fabric laying on top ........... the thing with these type gullys is they dont come with underwater channels like the nutriculture ones are made , these are just flat channel and with the 4mm thick brickguard used is creating a moist pocket for the roots to have a little extra area to fill out .

harvest , about 2 and a half jugs from the 2 big guns ! i dont have scales but when dry a look should be estimatable, i chopped a few days early so some xmas smoke had a decent cure time

kush fromage auto & fastbuds six shooter under t5s finaly gaining some space and i have moved the shortstuff PA,s in the far right position .

the kush fromage an sixshooter are now centralised and under a mars ll 400 in veg mode .

and in the box ( the seedling is either a fastbuds rhino ryder or a auto critical ogre ( mystery ? ) and the seed you can just about see is a 00 seeds california kush auto which the tail bent in an aqward U shape and the little bit of tail available i have guided it in the downward direction hoping it will take in the root roit . ..........the seedling had 2 mites or something on eating it so i have sprayed with neem oil

Have you been at this long?

Good to have another brother on here letting others know what happens when you do autos in NFT. I struggled to find auto/NFT journals anywhere when I started growing a couple of years back....have you seen many?
