Roots have a foul smell on the bottom of the solo today meaning I must have left them sitting in water. Remedy’s? Any help welcome

So I lopped off the bottom 2” of root mass, the remaining roots smelled fresh.
I added more air holes on the cup
backfilled the cup and placed the plant back in
added hydroton to the yogurt cup catch basin. This does raise the plant 1” so more light hope it’s not too much

She’s yellower than before and dropped a few of her lowest fans but still chugging. Frosting up well and has a pretty purple tint probably from all the stressful husbandry. I got a HEPA filter installed to keep the buds cleaner than not. Anyone know how long you could expect an auto gone photo to flower? Similar to the standard photo version stats perhaps?
Glad to say her root ball has rebounded and populated the new soil at the bottom. Yellowing discoloration has slowed but she’s still fading. I think she will limp to the finish line which is hopefully only a few weeks away, but she’s still throwing pistils and buds are visibly swelling. She might be getting too much light as she’s only 5” away from it at 100% getting 1547 Ppfd. Maybe that’s why she’s yellowing but also maybe why buds are so dense? She smells amazing and is frostier than the Bruce banner bonsai by a long shot so who cares!
While I strenuously pipette the days first water to break through the dry crust that forms each night this song plays in my head. Fitting song as she is the last one running! Happy 420

Catching the morning sun 
Going to let her ride another week or so, deeper into the buds is ripe but still clear trics on the outer edge. Very few pistils still popping. Seriously my frostiest chunkiest buds to date and making me consider trying the biocanna nutrient line that this plant has gotten on my next indoor grow. This one only received the bio Flores but I can’t discount that it might be part of the success.
