aa3.jpgaa2.jpgSAD DAY!!! WEEK 5ish....my plants look like they are diying:crying:the leaves are yellow and curled???i think the HPS was too close could that be it??? i also have not waterd in 3- 4 days so im going to water today with nutes also i moved light up a about a foot give or take...any help would be needed. Thanks

Those crispy, curled leaves look like classic light/heat burn. Especially if you don't see any signs of nutrient deficiency on other parts of the plant. They should be OK with the light moved up, but those leaves won't ever recover. Overall things do look droopy, which is probably a combination of needing water and bending away from the lights.

You can cut them off or leave them and they'll fall off on their own. When I have damaged leaves I like to leave them so the plant can extract the last bit of nutrients from them, assuming they're not already completely dried out. Either way just make sure you get them out of there at some point so you don't have dead plant matter in the tent attracting pests. I wouldn't worry about long-term affect of this, as it looks pretty minor. Once I had a plant too close to the light and it dried out the top of the main cola which was a real bummer, but as long as only the leaves were burned, you should be fine.

Oh Man, sorry about the heat issue!

oh man..sorry to hear about that..did you lower the light more than it was before? or did the plants just grow closer? anyhow, i also noticed that you gave a full dose of nutes the other day too, and if im not mistaken, muddy says that autoflowers are never supposed to get a full dose on nutes, those doses are meant for photo's. anyhow, just my :2cents:. Heres some green karma sent your way growdawg! :wiz:

nope the plants grew taller and my shit is on a timer and i never check them but once every coupple days or when i water them and when i went to check them the grew more....!!!!! now at 2.5feet and no i gave them full strength about 3-4 days ago and they did just fine its the light bcuz they are crisp and curled if it was nute burn it would just be yellow discolor leaves,Thanks for the karma bro i really need it at this point

and the 1/4 1/2 is only a rule of thumb to start off with every plant varies some autos can take full strength and some cant thats why you start at 1/4....i start at 1/2
