@swampman:
hehehe... the foods nice and spicy :)

okey here's my day .. i found a ph tester.. i hope is the right one...

View attachment 112865

tested my distilled bottle water... and the result is... 6.1 ... it is written on the brand that the ph is from 6-7.5

i hope i did it right... i took a small amount of potting soil and mixed it with water, waited around 6 minutes then waited for the ph tester to go 'beep!' and the results are 6.5.

is that okey guys?.. :)

tomorrow i will try to find a ph tester with a spike on it.. ;)

6.1 is good on the water. Just know that when you add your nutrients the pH will probably go lower. You will most likely need some pH Up to bring it back to an acceptable level.

Next time you water your plants give them enough so that about 10% runs out the bottom of the pot. Capture that run off and test it. That will be the more accurate way of testing it.

Also, don't waste money on a cheap soil probe, they are notoriously inaccurate. If you want a good one, get a Control Wizard Accurate 8.

should do the trick man basically mine looks like that but is made by Hanna and yes distilled vater varies all the time as i see that in the same products even ......

When testing dirt its better to moisten it and let it sit for around an hour then test it ....found this info in reading through many threads and videos ....it will test as long as it is moist then the dirt kinda gets iff when its dry ......

another heres a formula i read before ..
Test soil === ph
Water in === ph
runoff==== ph add those 3 together and divide by 3 and that should be ur true PH ......a pro or coach hasnt confirmed it on my thread but i have read many others use this ......

Hope that gives ya some ease at mind on ur ph skills
..
ya should be getting into a growth spurt of delicious flowers as ur starting to get hairs so thats a PLus !!!!!

@muddy:
they are due for water tomorrow.... i'll test out the run off... :)

@swampman:
i'm learning ph testing in a day.. but its sure is fun .. :) , i will test... the water... soil, and then run off.. ;) we'll see where it goes ... :)

thank for all the help guys.. !.. :bow: i'll give a report in the morning...

Dont quote me 100% I had read that in a thread for Testing and PHing the soil ....I asked on mY thread and never really got a true responce ......The grower that said it was here for a good while and Since i have used it i have seen sucess in my plants growth ......
hopefully we both get 100% confirmation from a true grower ......ill try and look back through the threads and see if i can find it for sure and send you the link so you can read it ....there was alot of great help in it !!!
