Grow Mediums Newbie Autoflower Grow (autopot)

Hi Everyone ...
Merry Xmas and Happy Holidays

After we opened gifts I decided to start Germinating seeds today. I put the seeds in water to start the germination process.

I am going to grow Super Lemon Haze x2 and Dark Devil Auto x2 Both are feminized seeds
I am going to use the Autopot 4 pot system as I do have to travel for work. I
Media is Coco Coir and Perlite
Nutes. GH Series (micro, bloom and grow), Armor Si, Rapid Start, Calmag, Floralious, and Kool Bloom.

Once tap root is showing I am going to put them into solo cups with 100% coco coir

I am going to start them off with CFL and then switch to Optic 6 Led. I have a 4x4x7.5 grow tent.

I am hoping to get some help as I am a newbie. I have lots of learning to do... So I thought i should start a journal

Hello daddy-o....

Your setup sounds great, Optic 6 is a KILLER light... Very smart in the seedling stage to use a simple CFL..... I have a gut feeling you will do well... As for the Dark Devil, this strain is rewarding and a visual treat, and makes for some wonderful images, as the Devil is in the details...

Thank you … Yes I did a lot of research on LED and decided on these lights based on what I read plus the reviews … The colours look amazing .. I decided on the dark devil and super lemon haze based on their genetics and that they state that they harvest about the same amount of time ..

Welcome aboard. You're in for quite a ride with that set up! We're all here to help so feel free to ask as many questions as needed. We also have a huge autopot thread in the autopot section. There are a few growers with a similar set up to yours. You can get a good feeling for what you're in for! If all goes well, you may not have much room left come harvest! Good luck on your grow!

You are good. It appears to be in the Autopots section to me. Keep a journal here and most of us will be glad to follow along giving advice, even when not wanted.

If you haven’t read @Hansbricks journals I highly recommend them. He was a big influence in many of us trying autopots. The man has it dialed in and the info in the hours of reading his journals is invaluable. He isn’t with us any longer, but the journals are, so if nothing else read his last couple of ones for some good info.

subscribed! lets see some seedling pop in the next day! Don't forget to use a moisture dome on the solo cups so the coco does not dry up too fast. Once the seedlings are above ground you don't really need any domes.

Some to your new grow. I do the same thing soaking seeds and normally within 24hrs they have a small tail. I direct place germed seed straight to my autopots coco coir 3/8" down as I haven't tried to do a transplant into the autopots.
