hello all,
I'm Jsacc,First and foremost I'm new to using any kind of forums so please bare with me if I post in wrong areas/wrong topics of the like. I'm also very new to auto growing and have just started my first grow. I'm just looking for advice and tips from those who are more experienced. As a background, I do have quite a bit of research knowledge so I'm not a total noob, but when it comes to practical knowledge I have very little. Here is what I have going on now:
1 two week old dwarf low flyer autofem in a 4 gallon pot and two more that are germinating almost ready for planting (I have white widow autofem on the way so I'd like to have a total of 5 plants)
I'm growing in a 4x4x6.5ft tent (originally had a 2x2x3ft tent until I got the bigger one last night.
I'm working with a 300w equivalent Mars LED light approximately 2.5ft from seedling.
Seedling is planted in miraclegrow potting mix with no added nutrients yet ( I have 3:1:2 miraclegrow nutrients I plant to water with during next watering. Also have not tested/played with any PH when watering
I have a small fan circulating air in the tent with a makeshift exhaust with another fan. I have an exhaust set up with scrubber and ducting (442cfm) on the way. Temp is a bit high right now at about 85 degrees. There are two sets of leaves as of now.
That's all I can think of at the current moment. Hope my pics turned out ok. I'm also bringing back nearly dead lavender and thyme which is beside the seedling lol Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated again thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I have some AN coming namely big bud, bus candy, and overdrive all for flowering (I know a lot of people don't like them lol). Unfortunately there isn't a gardening store around here so miraclegrow was my only luck for the time being :(

After much consideration, I'm seeing that miracle grow 6 month feed is really bad which is what my seedling is in...I need some opinions, should I risk and transplant to a different soil without slow release nutes, or do I just let it ride?

Promix, works really well, but it looks fine. If it isn't suffering why fix it? Just experience for the future. Just keep to fresh water and it should work out

Thanks for responding, I really appreciate it. I guess I just got really paranoid because I spent so much preparing my set up and I got upset knowing that soil could kill my plant. But you've brought some piece of mind. I'll just stick to water from here on out. Can you tell me what Promix is and where I can find it? Also I have flowering nutes coming, a few advanced nutrient varieties. Should I steer clear on those when this plant flowers due to the miraclegrow soil?

I just looked it up. Is there a Promix that does have slow release nutrients? Looks like it is similar to miraclegrow nutrient wise? Sorry for the noob questions!

Welcome to AFN! Thanks for sharing your journey! That Miracle grow 6 month release situation is definitely something you will want to look into.. Most autos finish in less than 3 months.. So that 6 month release could be an issue. And since you wont know when nutrients are being released or at what rate, knowing how much to feed can become difficult. Your best bet is to keep a clost eye on your ladies and take action at the first sign of a deficiency. They look good so far though! :d5:
