Welcome to AFN! Thanks for sharing your journey! That Miracle grow 6 month release situation is definitely something you will want to look into.. Most autos finish in less than 3 months.. So that 6 month release could be an issue. And since you wont know when nutrients are being released or at what rate, knowing how much to feed can become difficult. Your best bet is to keep a clost eye on your ladies and take action at the first sign of a deficiency. They look good so far though! :d5:

Thanks for the advice prophetiko! So in your opinion, should I just leave her where she is and take it day by day? Since I'm pretty new especially to nutrients. What kind of things should I be looking for in regards to using a soil with such a long release fertilizer and should I avoid all others from here on out?

I would leave her for now. Transplanting can be risky. The "eye test" should work for now. Let you eyes tell you when something may need to be done. If you see color changes in the leaves, or spots on them, they may need certain nutes. Most seedlings dont need much for their 1st couple of weeks. I dont use time release soil. I have to have control over when and what my plants get. I'm all organic now so I no longsr use bottled nutes. But when I did, I used Promix, which is basically just peatmoss and perlite. It has no nutritional values in it. So it was up to me to feed the plants nutes and I was in control of how much they were fed. Its a personal choice. One of the fun parts of your 1st grow is learning what you like and dont like to do.. Thats what helps form your growing style! Thank you again for the detailed advice! I will tag you I had no clue I could do that. You've really been a big help! So the Promix soil should be a decent start for the rest of my seeds germinating? @Prophetiko

Hey guys just looking for advice for lighting. I currently have a 300w mars led, a non branded 1000w led (heavy on the red spectrum), and I have a 400w hps/mh set up coming in the mail. Currently I'm using both 300w and 1000w at 25" above plant but my question is, pretty soon I'll have a total of 5 seedlings in a 4x4' space. What kind of light configurations would you suggest. Is like to do a hybrid system with the HID system and led. Any advice on how much wattage for 5 plants? (Currently have a two week seedling, two germed seeds next to it hasn't broken soil just planted, two lavender plants and a thyme plant in the pic just in case people where wondering what they were lol
