Live Stoner Chat New to AFN and Autos

Here's a quick pic for you gentlemen to better visualize what I'm growing in. In its former life it was an institutional grade tv cabinet. It's 2 feet wide by three feet long by 5 feet tall.

Tucked between the cobs you can see a honeywell turbo force fan for air circulation. That won't point down the way it currently does. In the corner you will see a 6" 350cfm exhaust fan mounted to the ceiling. All lovingly hugged by reflectix bubble foil.:bighug:

I need to tidy the wires up a bit still.

I was very pleased with the hortilux gear. Both the ballast and bulbs were top notch!

I had a kind friend hook me up at cost on that op, because I wouldn't take any money when I helped out at his shop. Sadly he passed a few years back.

Im not sure yet if I will have to run a humidifier or not. You, @Discretepete2676, and @BigSm0 have given me much to contemplate. :peace:

If you run a dehui and vent the air out it won't help you. If it's blowing into a basement or another room the addition cant hurt. Big problem with them is the generated heat. When designing a room a standard 50pt should be calculated as a 1000w hps just to give you an idea. This time of year I vent outside to save electricity but I'm also subject to the outdoor conditions being brought back in. Humid days the rooms humid, dry days the rooms dry Ext. A couple of helpful things to remember is air movement is one of the simplest but biggest and most overlooked things. I have run 80% humidity for weeks with 7 fans going and didn't have any issues at all. Next is genetics, I have to say my mephisto trials have proven to me they are bred properly with what ever crosses they chose. Mold and mildew resistant strains are definitely beneficial in every room any time of the year. Cleanliness is huge as well, dirty floors, dead leaves are all things that encourage mold. Especially dead leaves on the floor and in the pots.

I'm not trying to scare you just help educate with my little bit of helpful info. From experience the best way to learn is to run into problems yourself and understand what you have done wrong. So funny but something I tell everyone, the reason I'm so smart is I have fucked everything up, just so happens it only took me once or twice to figure most things out. I had 34 plants in a room that holds 20 comfortably. I learned quick!
