New to 4x4 tent, when to flip?

So, like the thread says, I’m new to tent growing and photos in tent. About when should I flip my photo girls? Leaves have reached the sides of 4gal bucket, some over that. They are 34 days old. Employing lst and topping to all in tent. Strains are Seedsman Cali orange, blueberry, white widow, and HSO Passionfruit punch. Without lst they would be over 1’tall. Was planning on flip on day 40 from pop. Only 6 days more. What you guys think? Flip? Wait 6 days? More than 6 days?

My flip timing certainly isn't normal, but it works for me. I veg everything, autos and photos, on 24/0 in one area, then move all to a 12/12 flower tent at 3 weeks or so which helps control veg growth and still get plenty of weed. Yes, that means I run autos on 12/12. After doing it this way for over 15 yrs, it's become a habit that fills my jars often.

these were from 3 days ago... I think. First pic is just before a second topping and LST. Think I’ll wait til day 40! Unless someone directs me to go longer.

a rough guide to go by is that the plants will double in size from the flip some strains may triple in size depending on genetics if you want have a look through my thread the trichome farm in my sig it will give you an idea how big i get my plants before flipping

Nice @Trichome farmer . At the job surveying now, will check them out after work! Just don’t wanna get em too big or flower too small.

Checked newest one while waiting for coordinates, what size pots you use? 5gal?

10 liters i think thats 2.5 gallons

Mine are in 5 gal buckets cut to 4gal with media so 3.5 gal of media... should prob flip soon then... gonna do the flip at 40 days just to give em a little more time to recoup from last topping. Thank you very much! You have been a great help!
