New to 4x4 tent, when to flip?

I run a 4x4, and just came off a photo run. Your several weeks away from flip, if the goal is to max out that tent. Probably closer to a month. Genetics vary, but flip should be when your approx 60% full. That is looking straight down on a square.

Photo strains will have many phenotypes, but will come pretty close to the breeders # of days from flip... so, for instance the COB is a 9 to 10 week flowering strain. You can figure you'll be cutting pretty close to 70 days from flipping lights. Try and keep the faster girls towards the door, once they fill the place in they're kinda a PIA to move around.

Had one more thought that might make the sizing easier... a 3x3 is 9sqft. A 4x4 is 16. So you should roughly have a solid 3x3 canopy when you flip to fill a 4x4.
