Yeah with the auto aspect I think it's a little better to let em ride it out. I did the staggered harvest to see about potency, and effects and the ones I left longer are the cream of the crop. The ones I chopped when they just started to go amber are way less intense. I mean I guess if you are going for that then by all means chop, but I want some stone with my smoke
I think this has to do with the ruderalis genes in the plant, they have low thc naturally, so I think it may help to push a little extra amber trichs if at all possible, but that's just my two cents and not backed up by any legit facts. Just the thoughts in my head
