New Grower (New indoor auto grower) Tangerine Dream and Sour Kush. Cheap grow!!

Yeah man, i just renewed my yeast and sugar mixture last night. It lasted about 2 weeks. Just holler at me if you need any help making it.

Day 15 The girls are looking mighty sexy! They must have been a little frisky in the dark! They're starting to stretch their legs wide and tall! Lol
I received some stuff today to prepare for the ne Mars hydro tent. Tent will arrive Thursday and the ac infinity t6 will arrive Friday. The ph, light, moisture meters will be here tomorrow.
Here is what I got today.

I really really really want to transfer the auto's to the bigger 7 gallon fabric pots versus the 3 gallon plastic self drilled homemade pots. I am growing in flushed ffof and flushed coco coir at about 60ffof and 40 coco. My ph so far has been perfect and the medium drains excellent! I have been watering and feeding daily very weak mega crop and around a quart of water between 3 plants. The plants are sucking the water back up from the drip trays every time till i don't even have to remove excess water. I also use sweet candy every time. I really need some advice on transfer to the bigger fabric pots. If i do i will fill the new pots with ffof (it wont take very much) and then cut the old cheap dollar store plastic pots away from the existing media. Please chime in and give me some advice and suggestions on this matter. The new tent will have a lot more room. And I know the bigger the pot, the bigger the plant. Help me out guys!

Ps. Pics of girls will be added shortly. Its day 15

So just from research it's recommended to start autos in final container because of the risk of transplant shock, but not to say I haven't seen plenty of growers hit the ground running after transplant. You should really look into the size of those finished babes because sometimes they are so short lived/small that even a 3 gallon pot may do it if they are not massive growers. Especially indoors as they do not get as big as outdoors. Just my two cents and like always take it or leave it :pass:looking forward to the update and to see your setup after you get that tent up!

Yeah i appreciate your time bro, I am really torn as what to do. Do you think that it would shock them just setting plastic pot in this20190605_003854.jpg filled with some ffof and cutting the plastic pot away? My thoughts were that I would cut the bottom off then set pot in new pot with ffof and then cut side and slide it out. Let me know bro... btw your setup is nice man

Yeah that would be the way that I have seen other do it. That has very little chance of them getting messed up. I'll try to find you the thread on insta transplant pots because it's insane in the membrane. I think you have this down pat and have thought it through nice and good. Thanks for joining along with my grow! I will definitely be around on here!

I bookmarked that page and forgot. So here you go!

This can be done especially easy with those cheap plastic pots I assume you are using, you said the dollar store kind lol you may still be able to slice and dice those 3 gallon pots right now since the roots probably are not out to the edge yet. Your call though, I just wanted to show you what others have used with very good success

Yeah man thanks a lot. I think that i have seen 1 root in 1 of the holes. The ffof will be here tomorrow, the tent Thursday, and the ventilation Friday. I already have the fiber pots. I guess it will depend on what the roots look like once i have everything. However I would love to get them in the new 7 gallon fabric pots. We will see. I am following your grow as well. Thanks growbro

You really wouldn't need to worry about those autos in a 7 gal bag. There is no way they would fill that out entirely before you chop. Might even be a little overkill but better safe than sorry. It seems like most people go with 5 gallon and I have seen more than a few 3 gallon. I split the difference and I'm sitting in 4 gallon aeration bags like yours.

Yeah thanks bro!
What's your thoughts about the picks of the girls above? Its day 15 and the last pic is the photo plant, 1st is growers choice Sour Kush, 2nd is growers choice Tangerine Dream. Let me know pal.... thanks man!
