i was going to buy some auto wappa excited to see how they turn out!

Hey all! first time posting in the 'growers' part -
I have recently been toying with the idea of growing a few plants in my apartment
I know this isn't the ideal situation but i was wondering if anyone has any pointers on how to do it right?

basically i wanna know if i'm going to end up with something really messy that i should do outside? and should i go with a phototron type thing that is closed or a small grow tent, or even something else?

Thanks for getting back to me..do you know where i could find a grow guide for canna coco i found 1 on thier web site but its not for autos,
what do you recommend for germinating process
any help much appreciated

To my knowledge none of the nutrient manufacturers have published any schedules for autos nor have I seen a grow guide specific to growing autos in coco. We do have some growers here using coco and I'm sure they will be glad to help you out.

For germination I soak my seeds till they crack, then put them into in to the soil, 1/2" deep, then cover them with some screened peat moss. I usually get 90+ percent germination with that method.

typed canna grow guide in search engin and found a few great tips ..thaks for the help..my wappas are into thier 3rd week and looking good will keep you posted on haow they grow each week..anybody tried autopounder..supposed to be a great yielder for an auto..thinking of tryin it next grow

We were just discussing the Auto Pounder in another thread recently. Sounds like seed bank hype. They say 1 lb. per sq. meter, which really isn't anything more that what you can get from any good dwarf strain like Mi5 or Auto Assassin. One of my areas is about 3.5' x 3.5' so just a bit over 1 sq. m. I easily fit 9 plants in there and average 2 oz. or better per plant so am getting over a pound.

hi Muddy..what size pots are you using please..my tent is capable of holding 9 pots of 11ltr be intrested to know

I think 11 liter is the perfect size. I use 3 gallon, which is about the same size. I've used 2 and 2.5 gallon in the past but get a little bigger plants in the 3 gallon.

i am approaching week 3 and the wappas looking good growing quite rapid
