New Grower New grower: third set of seeds...

Can drop lights down to 18/6, 19/5, 20/4.. whichever schedule you want for them. How's your humidity and temps?
Keeping both in the mid-70s right now. We’re having weird weather/temp fluctuations, so in my lung-room I have a window ac, space heater, dehumidifier, and then separate humidifiers in each tent (my stunted second grow is still hanging on in another tent, seeing some growth). Heater by night and AC by day!

Have you checked out VPD? https://pulsegrow.com/blogs/learn/vpd It gives parameters for Rh and temp at various stages of growth

I have, though I still feel like I’m learning to balance all the systems. I have an infinity T6 in each 4x4 tent. Just working on getting all the parameters in line. If I understand VPD charts, the general trend is decreasing humidity -> means decreasing temp. So, as I get out of seedling phase and I want lower humidity (to avoid bud rot), then I should target lower temps?

If you read towards the bottom of the page, the parameters are given for different stages of growth. Seedlings.. in the 77f, 65rh range, veg state, 55 to 60%rh, and in flower 50 to 55rh @77F temperatures. As temps go up, RH goes down. I like running the tent closer to 80 and set the vpd from there, with the humidifier controlled with an Ink Bird to keep it in range for the various stages. The idea is to create as close to the optimal environment that we can for plants to thrive.

Ok, so if I keep my temp pretty stable at 77ish throughout the grow, I’ll just gradually lower humidity per the VPD? I do have inkbirds for the humidifiers. I’ll make sure I have the correct charts for stages, too. Thanks.

BASIC QUESTION: What is the cutoff between seedling and veg? Days? Height? What is a general determinant of seedling vs veg phase? Thanks

When I begin to see the satellite branches begin growing is what I would consider "vegetative". Probably around the 5th or 6th node.

This is a leaf VPD chart I got from someone on here that's pretty easy to read without all the technical stuff.

Well here it is lol
