As you are only going 1/4 strength, maybe try feeding with every watering, or up the nutes a bit. And yep, they really start to take up the water.

Just keep an eye on them to see how they respond. When they go into flower, the natural path of the plant is to use up the stored energy in the large fan leaves first. So some yellowing of fan leaves at this stage is no big deal in my world. Your plants look good.

Thank you for the reassurance. After F’ing up two previous sets of seeds (albeit due to the same main issue: bad soil, which I have fixed), I’m pretty damn nervous about F’ing these ladies up.
I spend so much time every day with the ladies - I’ll keep a close eye on them! Thanks again.

I had bad grow medium this winter as well.. frustrating for sure. It did get me motivated to find a new grow medium which I have tried with better results. It's a never ending journey it seems. The holy grail of photons, nutrients/h2o, and environment for the tent, is the continuing search.

The girls seem to be liking a higher dose of food. I’ve increased to 500ppm of nutes (above base water ppm). I fed them two days in a row, then did water only once. They definitely perked up and are greener. Will feed them again tomorrow. I see a little light green/yellow, so I may feed the next two days. They’re requiring watering daily now. Trying to find their happy “balance”. Overall, though, they seem to be doing pretty well (knock on wood…).

The girls are still coming along. Green is better. Getting some small brown spots on the left lower plant, but I suspect it’s the change in nutes. Trying to keep environment dialed in. Keeping pH steady. Watering daily. Almost week 8, so going to back off the N slowly, and watch for any recurrence of yellowing.
I took a close up of some buds on the back right plant. These look about right? Is this where they should be? Am I correct that I should be expecting them to “fatten up” over the next few weeks? Seeing just a few pistils turning brown. Anything look amiss? Thanks!
