New Grower New Grower - 3x fast bud #2 & 2x auto mass skunk

Hi there,
this is my first post, just to let you know what I am starting with :
1 tent hydrolab 90 : 90cm(H), 50cm(D) and 160cm(H)
2x 125W CFLs (1 is 6400k and the other is 2700k)
Double-CFL reflector
3x 11 liter pots for the fast buds
2x 7 liter pots for the auto mass skunk
and some high grade peats soil

what do you think ?

I just put the seeds in the water a few minutes ago...

I have no ventilation for the moment (i ordered 2 clip-on fans from ebay, i should receive them in a couple of days) but yeah, i have no extraction or anything like this.
(the tent is in my room and its quite easy to bring in some fresh air, just opening the window, and opening the vents on the tent)

Also the temperature should be ideal as it is always around 21-22 degrees in my room. (and it will be a little more in the tent obviously)

i dont have any nutrients, nor a ph meter, or thermometer or anything else.

So guys, what do you think ?

Any ideas on what is the minimum yield i can expect if i don't fuck up everything ?

anyone else has grown those strains before ?

i'll be posting a whole load of pictures since i am not working for the moment and i dont have anything better to do than grow weed and play xbox lol

Welcome to AFN. Looks like a good basic setup. A couple things to note. Unless you want your room to really smell of weed, you will need a good ventilation fan and a carbon filter. You should be okay for the first couple weeks but once they start flowering the smell will get quite strong. Also, a good pH meter is a must. Should you start to run into any issues the first thing we'll want to know before we can help you is what your pH is. Those cheap $20 ones are pretty worthless. Invest in a good one. Also get a thermometer for your tent.

Can you give some details on your soil? No all, especially ones that contain slow release nutrients, are good for growing weed. And what kind of nutrients are you planning on using?

Hi dude,

well the soil brand is : biowizz light mix
it contains peats and perlite
i got it off a headshop, talked to the guy there, and he definitely recommended that one for weed

also, i will get myself a ph meter and a thermomether.
I am not sure if i am going to get a carbon filter and some extraction for this grow because its quite expensive and i am kind of broke at the moment

I dont know yet what nutrients i am going to be using.
Any idea or recommendation thats not too expensive ?

Im using GH floraduo and i love them so far it is a very basic(but good) line of everything your plant needs and from my own personal exp.the best dollar for dollar nutes also hope it helps any!!!

Ok guys, so I finally got myself a thermometer, a hygrometer, a ph meter and a magnifier.
I installed my fan inside the tent.
and I have ordered intractor/extractor/carbon filter off ebay.

I need to choose a nutrient now.
Growdawg30'z thanks for recommending GH floraduo.
Anyone got an idea ?

I was wondering if tomato nutrients is OK for cannabis (i have read on different forums that it was quite good for cannabis)
what do u guys think ?

A lot of us are getting some outstanding results with the new Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect line. But they are a little bit expensive, even though they go a long way. I've also used the General Organics Biothrive line and Fox Farms Grow Big and Tiger bloom. They both work well.

BTW, that Biobizz Light seems to be a good mix. A lot of people using it here.

I'm gonna be using bio biz grow and bloom if your're still looking for some nutes, fairly inexpensive and apparently do a good job.
They also do a product called fish mix which you can use from veg all the way through flower with nothing else check here.
