just a quick add in, im running both autos and photos at the same time. i actually did it by accident, thinking that my freebies from attitude were auto's as well. anyways, i started all my seeds roughly at the same time, and im just vegging the photo's the entire cycle of the auto's. then once i harvest my auto's, ill be switching to 12/12. i was debating just pulling all the photos out at first, but everything as far as having them together is working out just great. any problems i have incurred have absolutely nothing to do with the fact that im running them together. in fact, since im vegging them for 60+days, it just allows them to get bigger, which in return = more yield, right? i dont know, it all looks good on paper, as they say. haha. anyhow, in theory, you can veg photo's as long as you want, even as long as a year, ive read many threads other sites that have done so. the one benefit im noticing is that my photos-due to the longer 20hr light schedule arent stretching up, theyre becoming alot more bushy, which i like. so ultimately its up to you. to me, its basically getting the veg period out of the way-in a sense "hitting two birds with one stone" just my 2 cents

That Snow Storm has to be good. Vintage 1968ish Fillmore/Winterland poster/postcard art work on the label--add a classic rock band line-up and Lights By Holy See and one would never know the difference. Pleasantly seasoned ex-hippies out in Humboldt with third generation growers now.

Got a buddy who grows photos and he swears by the stuff.....it says to add 1/2 tsp per gallon of water during the veg.....I know autos are a bit more sensitive....and is that every time I water I'm not sure

Info on product.
0-0-3
Soluble potash(k20)3%
Derived from potassium hydroxide

Says this is a Humboldt county original...not a carbohydrate or water based product........shit ima use it

Yeah that sounds good but I use mh and hps....when my autos are in flowering red spectrum I think will this not hurt the photos that are still in veg......

no it will not mess them up
alot of specialty bulbs are a combo of both mh/hps... anyways grown plenty w/ just a hps from start to finish
some varieties will stretch more than others when only hps is used
but ....in some compact strains it gives more room to fatten up the buds
it is better to provide a full spectrum when you can though

Hello everyone...haven't been on in a couple of days kids.had some stuff going on.......ready to get started again and was wondering when i saturate my sunshine pro mix...how much do u usually add and how long do u let dry out before I add germinated seeds to soil....I think the sunshine says myco/active.....so should i not add any of the great white mycro I have????I know some people here use the great white and I'm interested to know what has worked best for them. Oh one more thing with the air pots do u fill with soil like you would any pot or do u fill all the way up I have seen both,I will be using both them and smart pots as well wanna see if there is any difference..I also have the full line of fox farm nutes and some hum bolts Co snow storm ultra......hope everyone has a good day:peace:

:DIf the mix has mycorrizae in it I don't think it needs any more at this time.Im using an airpot and you can fill it almost to the top because it will settle down after a few waterings.Just water the mix so the entier pot is saturated and you can put your seeds in it right away, just make sure you PH your water before watering.

Thanks bro....the great white shark is powder form...so maybe I'll add some to my watering at around week 2 or 3

Help with the sunshine......

So now that I know I'm going with straight sunshine mix.....I know all the feeding will be up to me.....my question is the first couple weeks of veg should i add anything and at what time is good to start veg nuts,I'm thinking about week two or three.....any info on the sunshine mix or if u see any problems with my set up please feel free to let me know....I will have some new pics up tonight....just got done wiping grow room down with peroxide.....cleaned everything up,getting ready to go

Also with the germination in the glass of water I just wanna make sure I got this right.....I put beans in glass of r/o water and put in dark place...then in about twenty four hours or so I should see white tap roots, from there straight to soil,is this correct....a hope everyone has a good night...be n later did pics

Baking soda and vinegar....

OK does anyone have any info on this seeing all kind if crap..about how baking soda and vinegar are not good ideas for Ph up and down....can someone explain to me please what are the different between that and Ph up and down....usage in soil or semi soil less mediums:smokebuds:

I always use vinigar as my favorite pH down product. I mix a cup of plain white vinigar into a 2 litre pop bottle and add as required. I have used it in all curcumstances with good resuts.

I don't use baking soda but I do use Cal/mag. Hell if the few times the pH has to go up what a chance to add a little calcium and magnesium. again always had good results.
