Hey guys these are just my tester plants to see how different organic methods work all my own I read a lot and the soil I've used is from the ground it's a clay loam more loam than clay with a natural ph of 6.5-6.8, I thought that was so lucky and everything flourishes in the area so it seemed like a good choice. It was quite compact when settled in the test pot I left out with no plant just the soil so I added some sand and 10 percent perlite and one and a half handfuls of our own horse manure rotted for 5-8 years for the final potting. Now the plants, 4 auto flowers I believe two to be bubba kush 97 x cheese and unsure of the other two but they have a distinct cheesy smell. And 4 strain hunters money maker photoperiods but I won't speak so much about them as this is a auto flower foum? And we all might be in the south UK.

So the bubbakush plants are looking good ill attach a couple pics from week 5, plant one is in a homemade greenhouse with a clearish thin plastic sheeting gets direct early morning Sun right up until about 5pm then it's shaded slightly, no nutrients I've given them as of yet. I have some organic mixes for root,mass,flowering but bit nervous about using them so far along. There's the odd ant on her about 4 at a time maybe I've allowed them to stay as they are a good pest deterrent as long as they aren't nestling in the soil which they aren't fortunately.

Bubbakush 2;

She is in a trough to herself as her sister hermied >.< about 11/12L, same mix of sharp sand two trowels, horse manure one handful and the earthgiven soil, natural direct sunlight from 10am-7pm again sceptical about the spots cause of direct light, it's all fields in tree lines so it's quite bright no buildings or forests etc. The rain has done most the watering for me, watered her once when the topsoil got dry to a inch or so. Not had any issues with her she looks really good not very bushy but tall! Ill get my tape measure out but at the moment she must be between 80cm-100cm. About 12 flowering sites 6 big yield looking areas others are quite small but long branches.

The two small girls of unknown origin;

These share a 10Lish trough, same soil mixes as above, same age maybe a little further along in their life time! Certainly seem like they are a few weeks away while the bubba kush seems to have 4/5 weeks left. Only small maybe a foot tall on number one and a bit bigger on two. These two I'm going to go take a pic of them the smaller one is developing some kind of deficiency I think with Browny spots on it but still looks healthy I don't want it to effect bud production though. I'm not worried about the larger one it looks very happy ! Small but happy!

Well there's my current autos I have a few bagseed seedlings as well just potted in a mix of store bought 30% coco 20% sharp sand 50% erroneous plants compost(recommended thought I'd try it) with a layer of stones at the bottom of some big ass 10/12 gallon tubs, the two that have been potted were the strongest two out of 12. 3 failed germs 2 died after germ 7 left and 1 is full blown retard I think. 5 started in peat pots. 2 in 1 pint plastic pots. One of the peats shot up faster indica leaves, the biggest was one of the pint plastic pots indica/sativa looking about 6 or 7 inches high maybe more cause on transplant I piled earth higher up the stalk for support. there all about 4 weeks old.

These are all my testers for the 5 purple amnesia autos I've ordered they come with a free short stuff seeds 3 mix and a feminised blimburn grizzly purple kush so as much advice as you can all muster and more pics of plants manure and nutrients inbound

Really nice and green. Looks healthy.
Now that they have started budding you will probably see them shoot up over the next few weeks. When they slow way down on the vertical growth I would stop using the growth booster (20-5-4).
I would feed them quarter strength nutes to start and then half strength if they tolerate it. Watch for the leaves curling down at the tips(claw), this will be a sign of too much nitrogen. 20-5-4 is pretty strong.
Have you read the life cycle of autos sticky thread by Muddy? Good info in there.

Ok as of today, 4th June, 8 weeks in.

From left to right
The first pic is the bubba no.1 out of her greenhouse enjoying the breeze giving her soil a quicker dry as she got a heavy watering yesterday. You can see my two youngling bagseeds in their tasty little mix and huge pots we will see if bigger is better.

Second pic bubba no.2 I've noticed her spot getting a ill bit shady am looking to move her somewhere sunnier for the last few weeks but she is tall budding nicely but not much bud for her height ?

Third pic is a mid level leaf kinda bear clawery what do you guys think.

Four(biggest small auto lemon haze?) and five(smaller auto), 6 (group photo) 7(buddage)

These are my small uns looking very nice though and I think the plant on the right of the trough is defo a lemon haze derived strain so I'm quite excited smells amazing really lemony with that peppery haze smell starting to fill out nicely. The one on the right seems to be following in the footsteps I think it would be nearly as tall but it's stalk grew at a really dodgy curve to it looks smaller than it actually is !

Armanidog thanks pal I was worried about the outdoor venture under English sun! Not done any nutes yet but just started my seedlings on quarter strength root boost, I was wondering about the flowering and mass nutes should I use both in combination with each other at quarter strength each once a week? and slowly crank it up over the next couple weeks ? Or is it a bit late now. Cheers for dropping in!

I would start now with the bloom in addition to the growth formula

Ok thanks Armanidog, bubba kush 1 stands at 67cm and bubba kush 2 at 77cm still seeing a couple centimetres a day maybe more had a lot of rain recently my purple amnesia autos from short stuff came in today so going to paper towel them tonight and start a grow diary. And do a full feed schedule with the organic nutes for their whole cycle I've a feeling seeing how these are so far with minimal pest control, no nutes and just sunlight I think I could be onto some real winners with the next batch.

So yesterday, I gave all my autos their first lot of feed which was 5ml grow with 5ml flower/bloom in 10 litres UN-ph'd water ( forgot :S ) plants given about 1.5l each give or take some pots are larger. No burn no tips curling, one has two leaves that curled a tiny bit but nothing worth mentioning yet. Attached is a pic of the bubba no.1 out of her house enjoying the sun. Had to put stack of chairs in front of her as I realized people on the bus could catch a glimpse!! Security facepalm!!! Next week she is going back to the plot to finish her life can't be having anyone hop the fence and run off with her! The height over the last 3 days has stayed the same so might be time to stop the grow nutes and do 5ML flower and 5ml mass once a week for the rest till flushing?
