New Grower New auto grower here

Hey Budgie45

What was your initial light height at the first of the grow?

I start my plants off in a light box I made then when they get bigger I put them in the tent..I don’t lower the lights in the tent I put the plants on top of a box
So there closer to the lights,

this is only my 3rd grow first time doing autos,

I’m still learning the ropes, but I did make my own female Seeds last grow forced a female to grow pollen,I have about 300 seeds,

I’ll try the seeds Out after this grow to see if they work,

I have 5 autos going at the minute but these 3 are the bigger plants the other 2 just starting

I have a 20 ton shop press in my bedroom lol, handy to clamp lights too

I think you would get better results if you hung your lights so you can lower them to your plants. This does two things. It gives the plants the light intensity they need and since heat rises, it keeps your plant in a cooler area of your tent or grow room. You can have 600 watts in a tent, but if they are mounted very high in the tent, the intensity just won't be there. Go to your new light's website and look at their PPFD map. The map will give you the height those figures were taken and the area of coverage.
Your plant will grow with a lower intensity, but it will stretch to reach the light, but it will be thin and spindly. Stretch WITH proper intensity is the natural process in the stages of the plant's life, flowering, but the plant and foliage will be more and thicker.
Take a look at this Proffessor and his vids. Some are quite long, but loaded with actual scientific info. He explains everything quite well and you can at the very least grasp the basics and be able to put what you learned into practice. Take a look at this one and I suggest looking at his other vids also. TONS of great info!

I would have to make longer chains for the lights to get lower in the tent ,since the lights are suspended by the chains and a hook

any idea on buying or making longer wired for the lights

Is there a way of making these longer
