Hey guys as some of you know I'm very new to all this and have been building up a soil mix in the organics section
My current set up is an apollo 5x5 tent
2 600 watt hid light
and a good few 2 gallon nursery pots
As for soil I'm using the following recipe
1.5 bag of Dr earth pot of gold
16 qt perlite
3 ounces of kelp meal fish meal and cotton seed meal
A bit of fish emulsion watered in while I let the mixture cook
Durring the summer I do not have ac so running the hps lights will not be an option for me I also use the tent as a space heater in the winter (works well)
Anyways I have friend with cancer and epilepsy so I want to ensure I can grow for them
I have about a $400 budget for leds and was looking at the Mars reflector series
I'm thinking that a 144x3 would allow me to grow 3 to 5 plants in one half of my tent. Opinions??
Also what kind of lighting schedule do yiu guys recommend? Do I just set it on full blast for 20/4 and let it go or is there something I'm missing here?
And I hear cal mag becomes a bigger issue with led?
