New Grower Need help choosing fan/filter

I've been told the inline duct Extractor fan is good but can not say for my self as I have not had any past experience with this specific fan, as I am a learner/beginner so let me know how you get on, a 6-8 inch fan should do you. P.s have you started a diary? Would be a good thing to do

I'm currently running this fan at 50% power. My room temp is 65F, and my tent temps stays a steady 73F. This fan is extremely quiet and is plenty for my LED setup. It wouldn't hurt to go larger if you want. Running a controller and dialing your setup in is key, or so it is for me. I also use Phresh filters, they work amazing.
Not familiar with Blauberg, so couldn't say how they are. I've been using a Soler & Palau TD-Silent series for a while now, though, and I can attest to them being a nicely quiet, albeit pricey option.
I can agree with this. I used an S&P fan in my last tent and it was whisper quiet.
Thanks @A-Train and @MeefChief .. I'm still searching but might go with the vortex s-line.. The S&P and Blauberg look nice.. But the vortex sounds more promising..
I found one 8" that pulls 728cfm for $145.. The other 2 more expensive brands are 6" pulling around 300ish cfm...
@MeefChief which one would you say is quieter the vortex or S&P??
@Gunner the fan you posted looks loud.. I like the price tag though..
@lvfcno1 I would like to do a grow journal, but this is my first grow and I don't want to embarrass myself when failure happens.. I have learned a lot over the years.. Some hands on exp, but mostly learn through YouTube and forums.. I consider myself an experienced noob.. Movin on up though, first time doing dwc seems to be doing way, way better than any of my soil grows.. And moved from 144 watt T5's to 208 watts of LED!! Hoping I get a first time harvest

Hi bud. I have the ventech fan that @Gunner posted, and it's not bad. I run it at ~40%, and can not hear it over my regular room fan. At 100% it gets a bit loud, but I still can't hear it in the next room. You could always add a duct silencer, but if you have the budget, I would get a nicer fan. Also, I know we all get different results, but I'll never buy a ventech carbon filter again. The fan and speed controller are solid, but the filter never wowed me. My diy filter did a better job.
This is why we are here bud. It's not just to grow and show, but to teach and learn. Post it your journal. I sure wish I did on my first grow, but I was embarrassed. I lost out on a great first grow, and just got an okay grow...

Oh by the way, failure happens to EVERYONE. There is nothing we can do but learn from it and move on. I don't think anyone has ever mastered nature (nor should we), we just do our best to mimic it.
