:Hookah:
Hellooo....:Sharing One:... how was your 420 Day Mz.W'? Baked to a golden brown, I have no doubt! :roflcry: have you pummeled some friend with your fine harvest goodies yet?
>>> LMAO!! Making shit up again,...? I'd say it's closer to pulling outta yer :My Arse..:!! (
*dodge the fist) .....trich' heads start out clear, swell up, then turn cloudy, hold for a while (varies for various reasons- LOL!), then generally, will turn amber and shrink some,... Your 10X should be plenty good for color guessing-

- and not so difficult to see even if you're a bit shaky,... there's going to be a mix of clear and cloudy, as younger flowers emerge (ditto for white pistils); leaves tend to amber up first...So, you have to evaluate the plant as a whole when assessing ripeness... nearly all cloudy is (early) harvest ready, trich's are mature and at max. THC levels,...
>> you got it--stunted-- growth/development was retarded by something happening to it, limiting it's potential... Age is simply how old it is,... maturity is more of a stage assessment, how
ripe the buds are,...regardless of age... consider some true landrace sativas, that may take as long just to flower and ripen as an entire Indica grow does, start to harvest,...
>>> TDS/EC meters are very handy things, but not absolutely necessary for soil growers,.. Hydro/coco, definitely yes!.... (Total Dissolved Solids, Electro-conductivity)... EC meters measure how well a (water) solution conducts electricity,...as you've heard, truly pure water is a very poor conductor, but if there are dissolved ions (charged atoms, molecules)--"solids" (think table salt for example, NaCl), then conductivity increases because those ions can help carry current due to their (negative ion) charges,... salts, minerals, ferts (like, say, CaNO3- calcium nitrate), etc. dissolve and
separate into positive (Na+) and negative (Cl-) ions in solution; the more ionic stuff dissolved, the better it conducts... Now, not to confuse, but this technical point needs be qualified-- certain things like sugar ( and other organics compounds) also can dissolve in solution, but the actual molecule itself remains intact,
not separating into + and - ions (sugar is not a salt--LMAO!! you knew that!),...as such, it doesn't really conduct well at all, even though it's dissolved in there! ...Still with me? TDS is measured in ppm's, and is in fact, an extrapolation of EC, based on measuring the EC and then estimates the TDS from that,... remember, non-ionic stuff like sugars, alcohol, etc., don't significantly affect the conductivity of a solution, so a TDS meter does not include them in its readings,... :slaps::Cool bud: Eh?! So, why have one? To measure the hardness of your water sources, that is, how much dissolved minerals--CaCO3/MgCO3--- are in there, and therefore get an idea about the buffering capacity of the water... recall, RO/DI water has none, the buffering carbonates (-CO3) absent, and so is prone to wild pH swings from even small inputs,.... really hard water can cause problems too; mineral build-up can cause alkalinity issues, burn roots, mess with absorption of nutes,... If you're fighting a pH issue in your soil, TDS/EC meters can help dial in your inputs to help correct things,... ***.... yup, that cheap one will be fine! most are about $20,....from those water report readings, you have great water! -fairly low hardness, just right,...
>> yes, yes... dubious, and opposed to doobie-us! "AFN smoke out" :roflcry:... seems I've seen quality troubles with both Lowlife and BlimBurned seeds in the past,... not rampant, but i know Single Seed center stopped selling lowlife for months because of issues,... maybe they've gotten their respective acts together, I dunno,... not seen any recent grows of them myself....
>> mind you carb sources at this point Mz.W,..eithr molasses, or SD, but not both,.. too much sugary sap by harvest time will make for nasty smoke! If you need to drop pH a bit, try lemon juice of distilled vinegar,... very generally, 1tsp/gal should drop pH a full point,....so, a few drops, stir and measure, repeat if needed,...
*** ding ding ding!*** chow time! --catcha later luv!
