The donor was 6-10” tall.
Just took the 2 lower branches with like 3-4 leaves.
I also used root growth hormone also both are looking good. 12 week flowering time. Out doors
I just shot by the seat of my pantshmmm...ok....here'z the reazon i was askin about the age of the mom/donor -> given the basic rule o' thumb for an auto of 1m to veg, 2m to flower, and the fact that they're on a clock, let'z say u cut/clone a branch from the mom when she'z 3w old...duz that mean the clone will start flowerin in jus another week, or... ppp
But then we were talking about it in the staff room and @Mossy mentioned she had an auto start to reveg going from natural sunlight (outdoors) then moved inside to a grow light (and more hours on than what it was getting.) Very curious stuff.
This will be interesting to see. I have cloned autos at the 3 to 4 week mark and had small plants with decent results. Just not anywhere near the mother plants size at harvest. I have a greenhouse grown auto that has a couple new leaves starting after I harvested it and just placed it on the deck outside to wither and die 3 weeks ago. Certainly would not call it re-vegging at this point.
I have heard not so good things about them so I'll go with bad genetics. If you need to change the light for it to flower it's a photo. No such thing as a "semi" auto, its either a auto or it's not. That's what make a auto a auto... its automatic lol.I have some Hindu Kush "autos" from Growers choice that have been vegging for about 9 weeks lol.
Their email response:
"I am very sorry to hear about this issue.
Auto-flowering "technology" has improved immensely throughout the years, but due to the nature of only having 10% Ruderalis in the genetics there will always be variables to the auto-flowering trait. Having a heavier presence of Ruderalis could stabilize the auto-flower trait, but will ultimately impact the potency/characteristics of the intended strain. For this reason some auto-flowers will perform similar to their original photoperiod strain and will need to be triggered into the flowering stage by decreasing the amount of light it receives.
Thank you for your understanding, and please let me know if there's anything I can do for you."
They still claim them to be autos even though they require a light change. I would have expected them to say they probably packaged the wrong seed.
I put them in the dark for 2 days and then on 12/12 lights for the past week, still not flowering. I have had problems with GC seeds before so this is the last time from them.
