Hello I have been reading through this log. Is you only exhaust your charcoal filer setup? I am curious if you are creating to much in pressure. Typicall a intake can be passive where you let the exhaust pull the air it needs into the box. Also you may want to add another light to your setup or some cfl bulbs on the sides. That Blackstar is pretty small as far as footprint goes but it is a good light for what it does project down to. I have a prosource UFO setup and it really can only grow one plant on its own and be effective without other lights being mixed in. This will be especially true if you are going to be LSTing your plant to keep the height down.

This will be an interesting grow and I will be following along.

I'm interested in how well the led will do also. I can say that his plants look bigger than mine at the same age and I'm running 4 42w CFLs for my two plants. If I could get the same or better results out of a $140 led, I'd switch in a heartbeat. It would also help with my heat issues.

thank you for your input as for adding cfls thats a no can do do to heat, i am going to see how this run turns out then i am prob going to buy a 240w blackstar and put it in there. As for airflow, its great ! moving 110 cfm in and exhausting 220 cfm, now I am sure the ducting on the intake and the carbon coal are hindering it some but i still think its great

I just picked up a 180W blackstar to run a longside my 240W blackstar in a 2x4 tent. Nice little lights. Going to get another 240W in a couple months here. Plan on running 4 eventually.

Is it only on that one leaf? Could be nute burn on the leaf maybe.

Are you dosing for nitrogen? Yellowing on the older leaves first typically indicated a Nitrogen deficiency of some type. I usually starts at the tip though and works its way back so I am not quite sure where though.

Hopefully someone else can help out with more info.
