Anyone can get onto the AFN Seed Test Team by Completing 1 grow diary or battle with their own seeds.
When sponsored seed comes on site Seed Test Team are given priority on it because vendors know that you have completed a diary or battle to qualify..so they are more likely to get a return from the seeds they sponsor you with.
Simple system.
The more completed grows we get per sponsorship..the more seed vendors we attract..
When the battles move to our sister site HOTT photos and auto vendors will be included..

..started taking over...so we moved it.HOTT is our Product Promotion site...vendors want good honest grow reviews for product they give away...we Provide the growers..
Individual Grow Diary Competitions/Testing will stay on AFN...Grow Battles will move to HOTT...vendors get the choice..

And that was a wholly altruistic decision, he gave his 4 non believing colleagues, 20 fem beans each, and said.................. you get a male from them beans, i will eat my canna hat !.................. no hat was eaten !!........................ one went on to open the "Sensi Seed bank" in Amsterdam........... the other started "Dutch Passion", your passion is our passion........ from there, the feminization revolution started, and spread worldwide.......... weight for weight, value to value, canna beans are 3.5 times more expensive than gold.........
Henk, asked the same question in "83".............. in the end, the only reliable method, to get a female fem, to herm weak pollen, was the discovery, that an overdose of gibberelic acid, would cause, just a very few females (From Regs beans)............... to herm weak pollen, that was then used to pollinate, the females that "Did Not Herm" under stressful conditions......... the resulting "very few" beans, where 98.9% female, on an in line, line backcross pollination of those females that did not herm............... = feminization, you cant call them "Female" as 1% will throw a nut or two every other generation.............. as mother nature managed to keep one finger in the pie.................... saying that though, in 7 yr of growing Henks Gillette beans, i never had a full blown male develop, ever.................. ive never seen the genuine "1%" male outcome, all male plant...............
you can talk "Souvenirs" though right............ half the world is legal now right............ it is illegal to germinate the seeds, in many countries still, but it's ok to learn how to......................... on AFN & other site ?..........
