Grow Mediums My 'lil' mop top

hey 5th...I might have convinced myself!...I love growing in soil but seems like there's too many problems that can go on..although the dwg is alot more work!...changing water every week, checking ph-ppm daily, making ro water, but it's also alot cleaner....no dirt all over the place.....I woiuld like to take the buckets out in the sunshine next year more pics to follow!

the roots are actually brownish/pinkish from the liquid karma which is dark dark brown and from the pink 'bloom' I use...the roots are fine just looks like rot in the picture...I was thinking about another air pump but I always see alot of broken roots in the water so I figure the air pump is breaking them ...I usually take the plant out of the water for apx 10 min daily to give it more air ....also I let the water in the bucket go down to apx 2-3 " from the bottom before adding water so I know they get some air that way...I might try two pumps on the next grow but my hydro store said you don't need it..if I crank it up it puts out alot of air/bubbles

Cool I figured it was stained rather than rot as the plants look so healthy above ground. If you can run your buckets that low and still have your EC and pH on target then you have your grow well and truly dialled in and should be seeing some excellent results. My oxypot girls tend to lookvery droopy once the water level goes down that low, have you never encountered this?

no not yet......in one weeks time I usually let the water drop that low then top it off again with ph water at apx. mid week then change the water at the end of the week...I will say that everyday at apx. the same time baby 'sis' always droops! like she fell asleep so I take her away from the light and let the other plant 'lil' mop top keep going
