Welcome to my growing journey. My experience equals 0... so your advices and ideas are very welcome!
I am watching The Dude Grows show from time to time. I also red two books on the topic:
"True Living Organics" by The REV
and "DIY Autoflowering Cannabis: An Easy Way To Grow Tour Own" by Jeff Lowenfels.
Recently I decided to give it a shot and try to grow TLO-ish Autoflowering Bubblegum from Pan Pestka Crew.
"-ish" because I will be using very simplified soil mix comparing to the original and won't use any spikes etc.
Thanks to @TheMongol I found out about "FLO" fertilizer from Florganics (NPK 2-3-2) (more about the product).
So I mixed: 20L BIOBIZZ Light-Mix, 10L BIOBIZZ Worm-Humus (EC), 10L perlite and 2,5L FLO.
I let it all cook for 3 months (1 month in ambient temp. 10 Celcius degrees and 2 more in 15 degrees).
Two days ago I put two seeds in a glass of water for 24h and than in wet paper towels for another 24h.
Today I planted them into 10L pots. In the middle of each container I put a little of soil that had no FLO added.
Oh and lets not forget Great White Premium Mycorrhizae that I mixed into the no-FLO soil.
It literally saved my ass because I forgot to roll the seeds in the powder before planting... -_-
The very top layer is a 3cm bark mulch. I am planning on adding a little straw on top of that as well.
The light cycle will be 20/4. I planted 1h before the dark period (if it matters at all, no idea).
The temp. will get down to 15C at night because the grow room is in a basement.
And during the day I'll try to keep it above 22. Will have to invest in a better heating system for sure...
If both seeds won't die in first 2 weeks then I'll plant two more.

Is day 1 when the seedling first appears above the ground? Or already when I planted it?...

PS: I started a growing journey blog thing but it is messed up imo so copied the content here and deleted the blog.
So here comes another post right after this. In original it was posted two days later.

This question may sound funny but I'm very serious:
is the day one when I plant the seed or when the plant first appears above the ground?
What we have on the photos is from today: either day #2 (it popped out yesterday) or day #4 (from planting).

The last photo shows adjustments I did:
1. poured some water on plates to raise the humidity
2. set fungus gnats traps (won't kill dem all but don't mind a few flying around in TLO. also sprayed some BT allover)
3. borrowed a small air humidifier from my bedroom

The humidity readings jumped few points up shortly after points 1 and 3.
I lowered the LED half way down compared to the blogs description photo and removed the glasses. Don't wanna burn the ladies accidently.

Please give your feedback guys! Am I doing it right or maybe overthinking shit?! :help:

I count day one as the first day my ladies first pair of cotyledons have unfurled.
wow, this makes it even more complicated :D

so what you're seeing below is day 5 (from planted), day 4 (from showing above the ground) or day 3 (first cotyledons) - choose one :haha:

@Iriee Vibez and @Mizzo81 wanna help me a little bit?

I’d go with day 3. They rarely run accurately to the seed suppliers suggest time frame anyway. Plus when you get to harvest you’ll be second guessing yourself as to when you should actually chop, and the best advice you’ll get is “if you think they’re ready, wait another week” :smoking:

Bump your room temp up to 24c to 26c - Humidity around 60 % .The day it pops up , day 1 . Soil temps are very low for microbe life , Ideal 20 to 26c . Is the soil got a fair bit of bark in it . Be aware it draws nitrogen as it breaks down .

Yeah my temp was almost 30 until I plugged the venting system in. The grow room is built in the basement that stays at constant 15 degrees C. I set it to minimum to not let too much cold air in... but yeah I think I'll need to warm the basement temp up from time to time... And about the humidity... This is something I struggle with without humidifier... I spray the ladies 3x a day and put the plates full of water on the side (I can see it vanishes slowly so it must be working). But it doesn't want elevate anyways... All savings already invested so can't afford humidifier... :C

Is it even when the bark's package said that it has relatively much N in it? So won't it compensate it giving it back to the soil? :dang:

No . it is taking it out of the soil as it breaks down . Wood chip takes 1 to 4 years to break down .

Have you heard about sheepwool as mulch? I was planning to use it but gotta wait for some guy to hairdress his sheeps soon.

Yes I have , but I have had nothing to do with it , no sheep in the tropics .
