Very nice

Have not seen that bag. The MG soil near me is called Natures Organic it’s a green bag with the Miracle Grow logo at the top. But the one you have looks organic so it will be a fun comparison. Big bags were $10, saw them last night at the Home Depot.

As far as exhaust or extraction it’s going to come down to how many CFM each fan can pull and how the room is sealed.

Never seen the vermiculite used as s starter but should would. If it’s neutral you can add just a slight bit of nutrients.

Just a few suggestions.

Since it’s all new stuff I’d do a slurry text on ALL your soils to see what you have as a starting PH.

And it looks like you are ready to put together a big grow. But I would try a staggered start to ensure that the process you intend to use to get up and running is successful. Start 2-4 and then if they take off well start 2-4 two weeks back and so forth. That way any problems will always present themselves first with a small group before the whole crop. And changes can be made accordingly.

I’m have’N some second thoughts on just vermiculite to start in what’s a soil I can get that wouldn’t be to hot to start in?

I don’t think you would have and issue with the Miracle Grow. Just for giggles throw a random seed in a solo cup with some in it. Not sure what you bought for seeds or how you feel about experimenting with them. Maybe like I did early on you bought from seedsman and have a whole bunch of free seeds or ?

I’ve never used the Sohum but are you sure it will be to hot?

I’m not a full time soil grower so hopefully someone will chime in.

Finding a starting regimen is really. Something you have to experiment with and feel comfortable about. Hopefully it will be 100% germ and rapid growth whatever you decide. But if there are a few hiccups then you are in good company. We have all had to fine tune our methods based upon what others do

So came up with an idea from the help AFN family and peeps :Cheers :TokeToke went and got me some of this :

Grab pro mix . its got perlite and a few more things in there. And just like the peat its reusable!! I've used mine 4 times before I thought it was time to start over. But i always added a few amendments in after each grow . bone meal bio char and a few other things. To,much perlite will hurt the grow and the verm is ok but perlite is better .

By looking at my soil or the seed starting mix I have so they look like there’s to much perlite?
