New Grower my GGAF 18 Octopot SoHum Living soil grow

3 gallons? . Those bags are only 1.5 cubic feet

Looking forward to seeing these pots in action. Get some more soil. Just for fun I’d like to see you run the Miracle Grow Organic Potting mix in a few as a comparison . I did and had good results. And I see you have Lowe’s buckets so you can get it cheap. It will need a little bloom additive but should work nice.

I was wondering the same thing about the new miracle grow organic soil. It might not be the in thing but I used MG only when I first started( back then there wasn't much to choose from, lol), and it worked great. Id bet that soil works well, big Co. Not gonna turn out shit, especially after all the advert. and marketing for this new line.

I ran 3 in 3 gallon bags with only MG organic potting mix and Megacrop added in late flower. All produced very well for their respective sizes and my first soil grow ever. I added an additional 25% perlite to the mix. Very happy. Will be doing it again next year in five gallon bags for an outdoor grow that I’ll bury the bags. Nice quick strains though.

DMHeights see that’s my problem at first I did by accident bought the 12 gallon size but I only had gotten enough soil for the 6 gallon I called them and told them and they said they fixed it.
A bag I thought should fill almost 2 sleeves the 12 gallon would take the whole bag and these are taking a whole bag lmao

Interesting. Being available at most stores I might just look into that. Definitely more cost effective.

After seeing them that makes more sense now.

So I’m coming up short on the SoHum soil so I’m gonna do 9 in sohum and 9 in MG organic mix and we’ll see [emoji102][emoji4]

Can’t wait to see how she stacks up. Are you going to split the strains evenly so each one has each soil. I think if you are pushing them hard they will need a little bloom booster. Or just teas along the way would be sweet way to go. I think it will be a good base for whatever you decided. I’m using all the leftover from this years containers as base for a very HOT living organic soil that’s been cooking all summer. Hoping it will be a water only LOS for some outdoor girls next year.
