I got bored one day a couple weeks ago and decided I wanted to see how far I could get a plant in a solo cup dwc. I figured the roots would outgrow the cup or it would become a pain to keep water in the cup. I chose Triks from Twenty20 Mendocino, tossed her in a paper towel then into a rockwool cube once she germinated.
Day 17- Noticed first pistils today. This is one of the fastest auto to show sex that I have grown. I have heard reports that the Strawberry Blubarb can show sex in 15 days.
Here is my Triks day-31 from Twenty20 Mendocino. She is drinking the entire res (solo cup) each day. I might need to toss her in a bucket once flower sets in and she really starts to drink. I am surprised I am not haven't any issues with root rot but the cup seems to be insulated a bit with the "stand" I made to stabilize the cup. I am mixing in hydroguard with the nutes and that always helps but I have not monitored the water temp at all with this setup and my air pump is right outside the tent at room temps.
Going to harvest the two Crinkle Cut autos in the middle within the next week. Wizard's Breath right above them will be harvested probably a week after them. Need to free up some room for the Strawberry Blubarbs, they are starting to get big and will be stretching anytime. Triks DWC solo cup is doing well too. I have 4 photo periods in the tent as well.
The two "droopy" plants in the front corners are the Slurmint IX x Slurrup photoperiods. The one on the left is a female and I will take her to the flower tent soon, the one on the right is a male and will flower it out in a separate tent and grab some pollen.
