Thanks man! I hope to never need it again and am open to anything different if there is a next time. Going all in and just throwing away everything that had any sign if it was the best thing for me to do. Yeah it kinda sucked throwing away 3 maybe 4 ounces but not a big deal. I have peace of mind and I’ll just grow more.

I usually use neem early on in veg at about week 2ish on all the plants and it works well! I'd just keep it and throw it in your grow schedule as preventative maintenance.

I cut and washed all the buds and hung them in the dry tent. They look and smell beautiful and happy to report no sign of mildew as I cut and also no oil floating on rinse buckets. Nothing but clean healthy buds! Dehumidifier and AC on getting the tent to 64/60. My plan is to hang the buds for 2 days then I’ll cut em to 12” and paper bag them and hang those unless someone has a better suggestion.

Guessing I’m not the only newbie who, while getting ready to harvest, clipped a small one joint bud to set outside in the shade 48hrs for a quick dry? Still holding 3/4 of the joint and it looks like there’s a 99% chance I’ll be growing a couple Strawbba the Huts next grow

Howdy growfriends! I need some help. I unexpectedly had to go out of town for a few days so my buds have been hanging in the tent as opposed to paper bags as planned. The wife surprised me with a suite at the casino for our anniversary and the reason she’s kept me for 32 years is I don’t say things like “But what about my plants?!” haha. Last night I put a few buds in a jar to check humidity and after 15 minutes it read 61%. I hear that’s acceptable but when I stuck moisture meter in the stem it said 30% as opposed to an acceptable 10-12%. What the hell? Should I go by the readings in the jar if they continue to show low 60s? I just cut em down last Sunday so I was a bit surprised at the 61% humidity reading in the mason jar. Your help is VERY much appreciated! Peace

Hey man, take this with a grain of salt, because I’m very new to this as well; but I think it takes more than 15 minutes to get an accurate RH reading in the jars. My guess is that if you leave them for a few hours, it’ll continue to climb up. I’d keep them hanging for now. I’d also let someone with more experience chime in haha. You got this!

check if you can move or bend a bud - it its stiff, the stem should be dry enough - or sacrafice a big bud and pull off some - if it cracks, its ok, if it peels off the stem...i wouldn't leave it alone in the jars - browen paperbags til you come bag should do for a few days to a week.

For what it’s worth, I also chopped a plant last Sunday. It’s still hanging in my dry tent and I think it has a ways to go. Temps:68 RH: 60% in the tent.
