New Grower My first grow

my last (but one) one went just into grove bags - also sunday, but cut to small balls and put into brown paperbags. Since I got to know the method, i don't bother. I found a bag years ago during my hiatus, they were dry and crispy of course, but all was well off and firing up the spliff immediately gave me the scent of the star ryder - which it was.
Now I switched to grove bags, even better, but perhaps not available (in the short term) for such a "rescue".

Check the mode that your meter is in. There are usually 2 or 3 modes depending on the type of material you are meeting (wood vs building/gypsum). Either way, you should be fine for the Grove bags. They are amazingly forgiving.

This morning two plants checked in at 12–13% on the moisture meter, 3 others about 17% and 1 at 20%. I just trimmed and bagged the first two because I’ll be busy tonight when they hit the perfect 11% lol. I don’t trim super tight because I mostly roll joints and small sugar leaves are welcome.
After these two plants each had 1-1.5 ounces removed due to powdered mildew, Strawbba the Hut weighed in at 91g (3.25oz) and a Strawberry Nuggets x Skywalker x Samsquanch weighed 100g (3.5oz). I put them in 1/4 pound bags with a meter and into my wine cooler which is set to 60 degrees and covered with Mephisto stickers to keep the light out. See you after the next trim and bag and in the meantime, happy growing! Peace

I’ll be dropping beans when the last plant is cut and I’m leaning towards 3-4 plants, top em at 5/6, and prune all the lower crap early. I definitely didn’t enjoy the crowded tent even as beautiful as it looked. But I’ve learned some about how they grow and how you can fit it to your needs. Didnt want to trim much stuff below the canopy last time but now I will with multiple plants. Eventually I want to do just one plant and really stretch her out to see what she can do, that seems like a lot of fun.
I’m leaning towards Skywalker, 3 Bears OG, and Mephisto’s Wedding just to get some Indica dominant strains in the fridge.

Thanks Hog, looking forward to it. I’m strongly considering growing 3 plants of one strain, they grow so fast that a weed buffet isn’t a priority for me whereas I’m all about convenience.

Thats kind of where I'm at. The variety doesn't matter if the quality isn't there first. Im planning on doing eartbox jrs with living soil from Build a Soil, 2 or 3. Thinking about doing just forum stomper, since the one I've got now looks top shelf. But might do one CDLC, one Samsquanch, and one FS... this is a really fun decision to have to make!
