Look into grove bags as another way to jar up your stuff they maintain rh like the boveda packs in jars.

I threw all my buds in jars added a pack and burped everyday for a week or so then went down to whenever i thought about it i would do it

Next harvest try a way to dry a tad slower, you want a long dry time more than 6-7 days but whatever works i think we get stoned either way but for the best results slower is better i hear.

Set it and forget it! I find that the bovedas work really well to raise and hold the humidity level. I would say to leave them closed. If it stops rising you may need to add another packet depending on the size of the jar. Slow and steady is best.
They’ve got it right at 62% in the jars now. I’ll try just leaving them alone like this. This bud is never going to be amazing, but I may as well make it the best that it can be!

I think the best tactic for the next grow is to not grow buds that I can see through because they’re so airy and to not be vacationing when they’re drying :crying:. I think I can dry these denser northern lights buds properly over 7+ days.

I'll see what you mean in a few weeks lol i have some airy looking bud plants but where i live it seems to stay 55-65% rh and its hard to dry past that, texas problems can sometimes be a good thing

Okay, after 48 hours in the dark, I’ve chopped my tall northern lights plant and she’s hanging in the dry tent.

Hoping to let my stout girl go for another week or two, but I’ve got some timing issues on my schedule. I can probably only give her a week.

Today I will chop my final girl, at Day 79 above ground, after 24 hours in the dark. I'm glad I gave her some extra days, as she ambered up nicely and I'm hoping for some couch-lock from this one.

I'm liking the dry on the other Northern Lights plant. She's on Day 5 and seems like she'll be good to go somewhere around days 8-10, which I'm quite happy about.

nice ambers :smoking:should be some good stuff

Well, my friends, the “grow” portion of my first grow has come to a close. My purple punch is curing in jars, my first Fastbuds Northern Lights plant is in day 5 of its dry and should be ready for jars in three or four days, and I just chopped my last girl, the other FB Northern Lights. Here she is after a bit of a wet trim, just before chop.

Not bad! I could yield close to three zips from this girl, I think.

I got them all across the finish line! Now to carefully dry and cure, clean up, and get ready to go again, this time with more knowledge and hopefully a better plan. Woohoo!

Such a good job and I see 84 G’s dry there. Which is dead on 3 zips. That’s also a talent I have is guessing dry weights lol. Watch it’ll be within 5 gs or so
