Ahoy! We just talked today and boom... Lovely. I see some new stuff is showing up as well.
Yep, I think she's doing pretty well. Definitely seems better since I raised/adjusted the lights. I think I was just bearing light down on her too hard before, and she was clawing and staying low to try to get away from it. Just in the last couple of days, she's gotten a bit more space between her nodes and I'm able to LST her more easily. Good lesson learned, just in time to not repeat it with my Northern Lights babies. That's how this works, right?

An outside and inside pic on Day 23. Her real color is somewhere in between! I've done a bit of defoliating near the bottom and am thinking about taking off a bit more soon. Plenty of tucking, but it doesn't take her long to untuck herself!

Its a girl! congratz on violet showing her sex. They grow so fast, nice and bushy :drool:keep tucking! lol they love to untuck but keep at it, it pays off :smoking:

Just one week more and then you will be shocked my friend. Pre-flowering is the most enjoyable part of this thing (for a newbie like me). They are going crazy!

Looking amazing! Let’s just make sure we stay on the right track. I def think your issue was a N tox and not as much the lighting. While raising the light helped it was also at the same time she was growin through the N tox.

you are doin great my friend!

K, good to know. Thanks! You think it was from the Ocean Forest being hot? From soil PH buffering issues? The Northern Lights are in the same mix, so I wonder if they’ll have the same issue. I know it tends to be a robust, easy to grow strain, so maybe they’ll fare better.

It was the soil bein too hot for that strain imo. It is def a strain dependent thing. So the Northern lights could very well be ok

looking good.

Things continue to be up and down with this girl. Currently, down.

I watered her yesterday and I was probably a day too late. I fear the “don’t overwater” messaging that is so prevalent to newbs gave me a bit of a complex about it. Later in the day she was standing up better and her leaves looked pretty good. Then this morning she looks as droopy as she ever has I think.

She’s soooo thick and short. Could defoliating her some help in any way? I’ve mostly just removed dying leaves from her bottom so far

On the plus side, the babies are doing pretty well. I’m sure their Fast Buds genetics are better than the freebie seed the big sister came from. But they’re also very stout.

Fabric pots, don't fear over watering so much they dry out quickly.

I think violet will pull through, i'm thinking these plants are hardy as hell, mistakes just stunt or lower yields not so much kill them.

When i water my fabric pots i put a oil pan under them and let them have water until they pee pee .5"-1" of water in the pan then i let them sit for 20 mins sucking some of it up then i place them in a dry oil pan for 5 mins to let most of the pee pee drip out then back in the tent, watering 4 plants takes me like 1 hour haha but i enjoy the time doing it.i only water these plants when they are light light light and sometimes light weight with droopy leaves then i give them water. i wait for signs i guess rather than a schedule.

Now i am about to screw myself over trying super soils, i heard i have to keep them damp never dry so this next batch should be a harder learning curve for me because i mastered the dry wet cycle and now i'm back in left field trying to learn
