Well if you heard it from Archie it's sound advice. He's helped me more then words can express as have many good people. Guess I'm still a little to new to be trying to give advice haha. All I know is thanks to Archie and others on here each of my grows get better

I got my ph meter from amazon for 20$ and its more than accurate enough, before that I was using the drops and as long as your nutrient solution isn't to dark I find them to be really accurate as well. I haven't used the strips yet, but they are probably the cheapest option and more than likely just as good as the drops.
I had lots of issues in my grow that turned out to be ph related. I ph'ed everything that went in too, but it dropped to 5.0 and locked out all the nutrients that would have otherwise been available at the correct ph. Good luck man.

Messing around with this macro lens...anybody know how to take good shots with it? She’s pale but growing so imma just ride it out.

Assuming you're using the macro lens with a cell phone, I've found it works best if you zoom out all the way, them get your frame into focus, then do any zooming after its focused. Sometimes it helps to turn your auto focus off, then move the phone closer or farther away to focus manually. If the ph isn't in the correct range the plant can't take in nutrients that would have been otherwise available. Good luck

I’ve been watering with distilled water only, so it’s not my water I think. Really wish I could figure it out because she’s doing well besides those pale fans

I just got caught up with your journal. I read on the website for your top dressing, you could try double the amount of dressing you're using, those things seem to work best when you mix it into the top couple inches of your soil and usually take a couple days to start working, I don't know this from personal experience, but Mr. Canucks Grow on youtube gets really good results with Gia Green top dressing. You could also try making a tea with maybe a 1/4th cup of dressing for one gallon of water, I would brew it over night as doing this would make the nutrients in it available to the plant right away as opposed to waiting for it to slowly release into the soil. I don't have experience with top dressing style nutrients, but that is what I would try if I was using it. The distilled water should have pretty stable/neutral ph so I don't think its ph at this point, but I don't know how the dressing would affect it. Hopefully that helps a bit.

Besides the pale fans, she’s looking pretty good. Added 1/2 tsp of Epsom salt two waterings ago, hope it helps.

looks like it seems to be growing decently even if it is pale, keep it up man!. heres a couple shots of my auto cheese i just took. and a couple pics of the colas on my stunted kush ryder mainline. i did some light defol on it yesterday. snapped a stem but taped it up and it seems to still be growng so thats a bonus. so far the cheese has 10 bud sites. havent seen any pistols yet but shes officially 4 weeks today so betting in the next week they will start emerging.

yeah im really impressed with how its growing, its not exploding persay, but just a nice steady growth as far as im concerned. im relaly looking forward to watching this one grow. and im especially impressed with how its growing in just a 1 gallon fabric pot. from what ive read this one apparently stretches some during flowering, so im really hoping. wold love one of my grows to develop those long spear like colas. since this one is a hybrid with sative im hoping that might be the case. if this one grows really well, its definitly one i could see growing more of. i still have 3 kush ryder seeds, 1 auto cheese(still the freebie seeds),one freebie amnesia haze auto, and 3 dutch pasion think different that just arrived. so no shortage of seeds for me.
i figure the cheese will still be at least two months from harvest, so plenty of time to think of what i want to grow next. but pretty sure itll be think different . will just have to decide if i wanna go 1 gallon or 3 for the next grow in future.

the auto cheese is a canuk seeds as well as my freebie amnesia haze. so far im actually liking this canuk seed. though ive read that there genetics can tend to be unstable so the same strains tend to grow differently. thats why i ordered some dutch passion, there genetics are supposed to be very stable and the plants are kind of the same all the time. so if i can grow a thik different well then i should know what to expect from that strain all the time.
