I just want to point out that the plants do not absorb light thru the buds they absorb it thru the leaves.. And not the bottom of the leaves but the top.. I am a believer that side lighting does very little for them.. Just my belief ...

Yes I agree with you.... I was going to buy 4 of these bulbs and hang them on top ,adjacent to my main LED light. Two of them to the left and the other two on the right. That will improve the light penetration. Am I right??

More light is good personally those are a bit expensive.. you can buy a Mars hydro 300 for $70.00 shipped and it is a better light.

Yes I agree but I dont want another lighting with fans. I dont want more noise...Stealth wise.

Mmmm... nice idea but I doubt my abilties to do that... Do you know of any simple tutorials and from where I can buy all that is necessary??

To your point @Ripper, I used side lighting and got an extra 1/4 ounce (estimate) out of a seven ounce plant. An extra 1/4 ounce that still went in a "special jar."

That's awesome.. I am just not a strong believer in side lighting as in aimed horizontal facing the plant because the plants do not utilize the lighting that way.. They gain the energy from lights on the top of the fan leaves..

I agree to not pushing the side lighting anymore......I think 1/4 ounce on 7 is a waste.

Going forward no more side lighting for me, just corner lighting with the CFLs.....
