The first one you can let it go until the amber progresses,you are getting close to having that couch lock(I personally like to chop them at this point) The second you may come out with more headiness and some body high. Also the chart is great here that Moondude just posted. Remember that when you chop them the continue to cook meaning that the 1st one could be a lot of Amber,the white and cloudy will also have amber. No difference in taste only effect. The taste will change you actually lose some of the smell and then once it dries and cures then the true taste and smell come through at least that is my observation. If you want to bring out the taste use Terpinator it brings the terpenes and terpenoids out which are responsible for smell and taste and are in the oils,that's why crumble dabs,shatter or any kind of extract will have that terpene taste.
Yesterday I decided to harvest the first plant (no.1 in the previous picture). I trimmed all the leaves and used the little leaves that were with the bud to make my first smoke. I must say that it really tasted good ... rather smooth and the taste was so nice. Looking great so far!! Will post a picture of the harvested buds later today.
Awesome! The taste will change as it dries and cures,it only gets better. Over the course of several months it really cures well and it is a big difference. A good cure is vital so the job doesn't end when you chop em because if it is not properly dried and cured it never reaches it's full potential. I had a decent amount and it has been in jars for about 4 to 5 months and it just gets better and better as time goes on. There is a good forum it is the Harvest and Curing forum and it has all the info you will need it really helps. There are different techniques so you can read about them and see what method is best for you. Looking forward to the pic.
Hi guys...yesterday I cut all the dry buds from my first harvested plant. It yielded exactly 28grams / ounce. I am very pleased with the taste. It is really smooth and the effect is not so couch lock (exactly as I prefer it). Today I will harvest the other two and let them dry for a week.

24 grams from the 2nd plant... Looking great... I harvested the last plant and from the looka and smell of it I doubt that is a Northern Light... the smell is completely different...more..sweet... smella like bubblegum to me

.. we'll see next week..Glad to say that my first grow is complete. After drying my third and last plant, yesterday I cut all the buds. Yield was 24g. I am very happy from the results almost 3 ounces from 3 plants is very good for me.... I would like to thank all of you guys that followed my first journal and for the great help from all of you.
