Seed Bank My first and last grow with Pyramid seeds

I just picked up 1pkg from Pyramid... Amnesia Gold but in the proper packaging as all of it just got here from attitude seed bank. Thanks for this post - this is the first time I've ever ran Pyramid gear and will be watching with high prejudice.

Considered picking Pyramid, you didn't really change my mind thx for info though :warrior: (well at least they have some customer support lol)

Currently I have an "experimental" grow with the seeds I got from a hermie auto tutankhamon plant. Half the plants grow tall and half the plants are dwarf. They are all starting to bloom, no hermies signs yet at week 6. The crucial element in this grow is that from start to finish I use only 4000K lights, to emulate the summertime sun. In previous outdoor grows the summer batches of the same seeds showed no hermies, whereas spring and autumn ones when the sun position produces either a more blue or more red spectrum did have hermies. The goal of this project is to find the right conditions that will produce weed with serious potency. I still have around 1000 seeds to spare so it is worth to try. I also have around 2000 seeds from a cross of white label northern lights auto with this particular hermie auto tutankhamon, which will be the next experiment. I suspect that the light spectrum plays crusial part in the hermie tendency of this strain. So far the plants have endured many kinds of stress like nutrient burn, high ph, cold temperatures etc but they respond well. For safety reasons I cannot post pictures at the moment, policing recently became more tight here in Greece and I need to watch out, but my will is to publish them in a diary in the next months, when the grow is over.

The result was disappointing. Out of 8 plants 1 hermied and all have seeds. Potency is good as expected but yield is very low. The seeds will be planted outdoors when the coronavirus quarantine is over and traffic is not intercepted by police, and will be used only for hash. It is not enough for weed smoking, only worth for hash. One thing I noticed is that if the plant stays short and has dark leaves then it definitely hermies, whereas the taller stature and light coloured leaves mean it is feminine.
But the bottomline is that I will not buy their seeds again, the hermie ratio is very high.

I grew their auto super hash ( reccomend it) and 3 more strains which were completely crap...

I liked their superhash so much i pollenated it with strawberry nuggets. The result is coming down now. It smells like sweet lemon candy.

I agree MrGreen

.. I've had my first and last dealings with pyramid seeds, I bought a pack of Tahoe Cure and got the absolute worse-looking seeds I've ever seen anyone package and sell they were white to a white with a hint of pale green, they were immature and picked way too soon I was disappointed upon receiving my beans. so I contacted Pyramid seeds to tell them I was unhappy spending money on BS immature seeds, to which they replied with, there is nothing wrong with those seeds that's just how they are, they don't get dark, etc... so I decided to pop them and hope for the best, they had a horrible germ rate 2 out of 7 seeds popped one of the 2 was weak and only made it 3 days from sprouting before it died... well after the lousy germ rate I was pissed, and couldn't believe that a company would actually package and sell something as immature as those seeds were, so I contacted Pyramid seeds to inform them of there seeds and my results, to which they replied with blaming the bad germ rate on me, so I sent them pics of 75 healthy as f#%k seedlings and stated I planted 75 seeds it is rare that I don't get 100% germ rate but if you pop enough you won't always get 100% even then I've never gotten less than 95% germ rate,I then called BS to there story" that's how they grow they don't get dark" and told them in my 42 years of growing and breeding I have never ever seen seeds not mature and get dark with mottling or tiger striped ....they then switched gears and asked me where I bought my"fake beans" from and went on to blame the seed bank selling counterfeit beans,to which I called BS once more as I know this seedbank is legitand my beans came in original Pyramid packaging and was not tampered with .Idk if I can name them so I won't but the name rhymes with fake(d) beans so easy enough to guess the seed bank, anyways from start to finish the Pyramid rep I spoke to was rude, snarky and tried to blame anyone and everyone they could rather than just admit a bad batch snuck thru quality control, they are hands down the worst people I've ever had to deal with and their attitude is why I won't ever buy any of there gear again
