And they're off! I'm doing a little experiment with the Mephisto cross. The new Mars Hydro FC-4800 might be a tad too bright for this tent but I have located the driver outside the tent. Once everything is in there I'll be curious to see the temperature with it turned up to 100%. This a 3x3x5' tent. The 3 gallon fabric pots are filled with my homemade soilless medium which I charged with mycorrhizae and beneficial microbes and added organic gardening lime. I wet it but didn't drench it. By the time the seeds sprout (fingers crossed) in about 3 days the medium should be the perfect moisture level. I'm excited! I haven't made seeds in a good bit.

Is that just straight Perlite? This is new to me but I only have a year maybe on your experience. Nice! I'll be following too. I'm already being surprised.

A quick status update for today 3/3/21. The Original OG Kush auto sprouted last night. I saw this as I was getting ready to go to bed. She broke ground without her helmet or membrane which was great. This morning she was standing up straight which to me is a sign she's a keeper.

The Sour Orange Livers has discarded her helmet and membrane but has not sprouted as of this morning. But she's getting close. So if they're just a day apart I can continue as planned and reverse the Sour Orange Livers to increase my small autoflower seed stock.

The Original OG Kush will be transplanted into her 15 gallon pot tomorrow. Hope everyone is having a great week.

You might consider a motorized gimbal as it'll counter some of your hand shakiness. I am planning on using mine in the grow next once we get to photographing the tricomes.

Well in spite of me as of this morning both the Original OG Kush auto and the Sour Orange Liver auto seedlings are sill alive. Both are under my 280 watt QB light at full strength raised to the top of my 4' tent. I gave each plant a micro feeding of MC this morning pouring a circle about 2" diameter around the tiny plants.

I bought a new gadget for my cell phone to help me better look at the trichromes on my plants to make a better educated decision as to when to harvest my plants. In the past I tried looking through loupes but with not as much success as I felt I needed. These photos are hand held and shaky old man hands at that. Once I buy one of those cell phone holders that will allow me to put my phone on a tri-pod I think this lens is going to be a game changer. Here are a couple pics I took. It is perlite soaked with 1/4 strength nutrients. That is how I germinate my seeds.

NICE!!! I need to find more of those sponsored things, i didn't do very well on the mars hydro event here. My luck has never won me anything in life but heart ache haha I'll stick to buying cheap leds and stuff for me :smoking: i just dropped $300 on a bp3000 and bp1500 for the 4x4, i hope they do okay but now no more growing funds now

Diary Update for today 4/26/21 for the Original OG Kush auto and the Quarter Pounder auto X Dark Devil auto

The OG Kush auto looks about the same.

The QPA X DDA does seem to be stretching vertically which pleases me. I fed both plant 30ml of Terpinator with their MC. I have 2.5 gallons of the stuff just laying around here so I thought heck give it a try.

Yesterday I planted 4 different auto seeds in perlite to germinate. I just checked a bit ago and the Fast Buds Lemon Pie auto and the Mephisto cross called Cheesy Monkey's Ass have both already pushed out taproots. Still waiting and praying for the Mephisto 3 Bears OG and The White Train auto seeds to do something. It's not even 24 hours yet so I need to try to be patient.
