New Grower My 1st Grow.....

thanks man! yea I went head first into my first one too lmao... but I'm by no means a expert.... but with my system I didn't start to add nutes unitl about 2 weeks after sprout... a rough estimate... size doesn't matter in the stage your in at the moment. all you should worry about for the first couple weeks is too much stretching to where they cant support themselves... through my journal.. they stayed small until about 2 weeks into flower... then they started growing bout 2 inches a day... it was crazy!! but I guess what I'm trying to say is that all you really need is PH'd water, higher humidity, and low light for the seedling stage.... patience is key.. in this stage all you really need to do is make sure they aren't completely dry (but also not too wet).. and let them do their thing... its literally the hardest thing to do..... but if you can do it you will be glad you did.. lol
Awesome man i appreciate that.....I've been watering with distilled water and the humidity is in the low 70s.

Ok I have an update finally. Out of 5 started 2 look good and 3 not so good. The three look kinda pale but I've been giving them all the same stuff, all in the same dirt and distilled water. Why would 2 look fine and 3 not?.....weird. Here is a few pics. The 1st two are the good ones 1 ak48 and 1 Swiss Cheese and the other 3 are 2-AK48 and 1 Critical.

so from my understanding, the seeds have all of the needed nutrients to get it through the seedling stage in the seed.... so no nutrients are really needed at this point yet... I would hold off on adding anymore nutes to them.. might cause more damage than not... looked at the pics.. they are odd indeed.. I would just let them go tho... keep feeding only RO water until they get their 4th set of true leaves before ever so slightly introducing nutes... I'm not saying I'm right.... all I'm saying is that I just yielded a LB off of one plant.... lmfao.... can you tell I'm just super excited about that... literally happened last night... but honestly this is the approach I will be taking for my next one.. just water and let them do their thing... I'm thinking one of 2 things is causing this... either. not high enough humidity (seedlings like it to be a bit more humid 70-80) or the more obvious reason would be the genetics of the seed itself... although they may be the same strain... doesn't mean that they will grow the same... well enough rambling from me.. hope this helps.... and just remember.... one pound off of one plant.... ROTFL....:crying:

I'm having a fungus gnat problem, I'm sure someone knows how to rid those little bastards....any info will be greatly appreciated. I do have the yellow sticky pads and I've used some diatomaceous earth but it seams the DE is making a water barrier on top and the water is taking a bit to soak in.
