Still no signs of sex on BK, with some more research 9 up to 13 fronds on a leaf are common, so I guess BK is just happy and growing according to her DNA plan. She looks pretty good so time will tell.
CC is strong tonight and BDM look very good. Not sure but I think the yellowing is slowing down. I hope so and I hope the cal mag problem (if that is what it is) is under control. I will continue with the CaMg+ for the time being.

That being an organic soil, you may not need anything but cal/mag for a long time (if ever!). That's how I scorched mine. I just quit feeding altogether and eventually they went nuts! Took a couple weeks and a good flush, though. Just go easy on the water and let the pots get well dried before flooding again. If you stick your finger down into the soil to the 2nd knuckle and you feel moisture at all, let it go. Pot weight tells you. If you flood and dry, you don't tend to get salt build-up.

Meh! What am I rattling on about ? You got it!
:tiphat:

thanks for clarifying that Im growing In FFoF and i can feel moisture like an inch deep, and i am one the fence about watering it. I bought the earth juice line and i will not even have to use it.

Hey wwwilie. I just read through your whole journey from the beginning.
I can't thank you enough for the great entertainment along with your dedication to learn and to journal.

I am definitely subbed up for your journal now, and can't wait for your daily updates.

Man, I thought that I over thought and obsessed in this process of growing Cannabis with my first grow a few months ago. Well, I must confess I still do, but I don't hold a candle to you my friend. :d5:

The great watering quandary! I was having a dickens of a time with how often to water, as like you and most of us novices, we over water in the beginning, and then the pendulum swings the other way, by under watering. Someone finally told me what they had found works good for them, and it has worked great for me since I started doing it with smart pots. With the temps that you are maintaining, watering the equivalent of 3/4 gallon per 5 gallons of soil every three days. I'm in no way saying this is the definitive watering method, but like I said it has worked for me now for my first several grows, both Auto-Flowers and Photo-periods alike.

I can tell that you are already as addicted to growing as I have become , and that you are going to become an incredible grower. Your doing great thus far by the way.

Thank-you again for making me smile and laugh with you on this journey.
I wish I could give you triple the reps + that I can give. You deserve it my friend!

:peace:

Wow again, thanks for all the comments AND compliments!! Very appreciated, truly.
Tx, thanks man, I think I have the timing, at least the when it's time to water down fairly well. I need to water more when I do, the flood part if you will. My plan is to water until I get a good run off on the days when I am not feeding. I am going to continue to feed. I know, I know... perhaps I don't have to, but (knew there was a but in there) I am following the footsteps of another grow, Rock Vs. Fox Farms by Nam80232. I think I got off track with the cal-mag and the absorbalight foliar. My theory is that the foliar was mixed way to strong and is the agent responsible for the burning. I hope to confirm this eventually. In the meantime I am planning to spray with plain water everyday I am not spraying absorbalight ( thanks A4), and cut way down the strength of the solution on that one. We'll see, so far there really has only been slight damage.
StickMan, thanks again man! And thank for the watering tip, I will be sure to include that in my routine. Like I was saying I think I have the timing down, just the amounts.
The garden looked great this morning, showing the typical burst of growth I see after feeding. It's like sproing! I need to make a ruler or something to measure growth by eye when I look at them and take a picture. They are nice and green, need to shut off the LED to get a better idea of the color, but I think the yellowing/ lighter green centers that I am thinking is Cal-Mag is on the wane. Interestingly enough BK the photo that is supposedly less sensitive to this type of thing is showing the same signs.

Checking things out as usual and decided CC was a bit dry. I watered her with aftw mixed with CaMg+ 4.9ml / gal. I used 3 L of this and had about 200-250ml of run off. The good news is pH in was 5.9 pH out was 6.0. Seems my pH is doing well, that's a relief! Put the rest of the gallon, just shy of 1L into BK, will water the rest tomorrow and water to run off again.
So enough typing and on to the pictures. Took them out for some shots with just the flash to see the colors in a better light (pun intended). As an aside, the odor control is working, between the ozone from GT-50 and the ONA gel at the top of the stairs the wife detected no odor and I could really smell CC's delicious scent!

The group shot, notice the yardstick.

CC Day 53 BK Day 43 BDM Day 27
Temp 79 RH 62
Another day has gone by... Nothing much to report this morning. CC very perky with everything pointing up. Everyone else looking well, BDM seems to have grown an inch! Bet they'll start to flower soon, they kind of look like it. Well at least to me, learning to make these judgements is part of the fun! I need some excuse for staring at them for hours!!

Was going to do a few things tonight. Water, move things about to adjust for lighting.... All I ended up doing was shoveling the 6-8 inches of snow that's is still falling! Arghhh all that work, so transitory, here now, gone later, but in the way in the meantime. So I raised the lights a bit and observed.
CC is growing well, main cola popped out some nice looking pistil action on top. The BDM look great and growing quickly they are why I raised the light. While a lot of the older leaves look pretty raggity-assed as my pop would say, the new growth is lush and green. Here's hoping they keep it up!!

I would sleep with it but my girlfriend would have a lot to say. Still, though fricking sweet.
