CC Day 49 BK Day 39 BDM Day 23
Temp 75 RH 54
A chilly morning here on the farm, it's about 4 F outside. Cold and dry but the tent is doing well, the addition of the humidifier has been beneficial. The Bubba Kush keepe getting bushier but not really taller, she seems to have stalled she is also about 6.6 weeks old. I wonder if I should not separate her out and start to switch her to 12/12 so she can start to flower. Need to consult a reference on photo period plants about this. Meanwhile the autos are doing OK, CC is flowereing and the BDM are moving along nicely. Interestingly one of the BDM seems a good bit smaller...

Here's BDM from last night.

I have been trying to decide on another light. The budget is limited so was thinking about a 400w hps. The have a cool tube kit for a good price, less than LED. I need another light for flowering the Bubba Kush and I have some other photos I want to grow. Suggestions, advice?

Edit: 7:00 AM News falsh!! The BDM are starting to show sex, they are girls so far as I can see. The pre-flowers are starting to show in the junctions. (Is there an official name for that junction between stems? Other than arm-pit...)

Willie looking good nice deep green happy plants!!! I always call each "armpit" a node short for internode the branch junction. He'll armpit works we all know what you are saying! Preflowers cool that means hold on some explosive growth is next, I always keep mine on veg nutes until they finish up stretching then make the switch to bloom nutes(bigger plants) or switch now and have faster plants. Depends on what you want. I veg nute mine longer to make up for the bad start I always manage to give them lol peace

Exceptional journal. I love to see the thirst for knowledge, and your thoroughness. Reminds me of my first grow earlier this year. Ladies are looking good, you are on the right track for sure!

Things look nice in the garden tonight. The older two CC and BK need some water, BDM feel good for now. I'll most likely water and feed everyone tomorrow.
I did something different tonight, maybe a bit drastic, hope not and don't think so. At any rate I picked off the leaves that were turning or started to turn brown. On BK I picked a lot of the bushier fan leaves. I did this to clean up but also wanted to put light on the lower inner branches and more energy into the rest of the plant. From my reading this should be a beneficial thing.
Long day, worked late so no pics tonight. I'll take some and post them tomorrow.
RP and Shatter, thanks so much for the kind words and encouragement!!

Looking Money as usual. Keep on .... uh ... trucking... do people still say that?

Willie thanks bro I been reading your posts all over the place and have decided you do a lot of research thanks for passing it around

Cant wait for mine to look that delicious! Your plants look awesome man i can only hope that mine do that well, thanks for all the information and hard work you put into your journal.

Wow thanks for the kudos!! Never one to go into something half hearted that's for sure! I enjoy this hobby tremendously and I am sure I will enjoy it all the more once I begin to reap the benefits!! (oh yeah!!!)

All is quiet on the garden front. Pruning and nipping did not kill anybody!
Big snowstorm on it's way here in a few hours so need to go outside and do all that stuff I have been putting off while I played with my garden. I'll have plenty of time once it starts to snow.... I'll check in later with the wtereing and feed details and some pictures. (ya'll know how I love pictures)

Whew... Long day! It's snowing like crazy outside right now. It's sunny and warm in a small area of my basement though and that's what matters!!
Some intersting news, all this time I never noticed! DOH!! I feel somewhat silly even. BK is a mutant, don't know the exact term for it something like diploid or polyploid comes to mind. She has 9 lobes on some of her leaves! No wonder she has been so darned bushy :stoneslap:.
CC is going gangbusters, lots of bud sites showing, she is getting tall and showing nicely! check out her pics, whoohoo never thought I'd be at this point. Smells strongly too, got the odor control handled just in time.

Fed and watered everyone tonight, boy they were thirsty, the larger BDM was drooping sadly. Perked up nicely after a good drink I am happy to say. I gave them each 1.85 liters and did not really see any run off. I think I am over compensating for my heavy hand in the beginning. Again this watering thing is hard for me to get a grip on. It could be a reason I am seeing some tip burn here and there. Buildup due to insufficient watering increasing concentration of nutrients? (or me overthinking the cr*p outa the whole thing) The burning could also be coming from the absorbalight, it seems to ba 24-48 hours after a spray. I need to check concentrations I must have mixed it way to strong, they like it but all appear a bit burnt.
Here is what I fed them. To one gal of aftw was added 5ml CaMg+ 320 ppm, 6ml Fusion Grow 330 ppm, 4ml Supercharger 200 ppm. I used two gal of this between the four pots.

CC, such a big girl now

I need to figure out a way to include a size reference, a ruler or something.

A liitle late to the post this morning, but the snow, it had to go. So here I am a bit weary but no worse for the toil.
Garden looking positively perky this morning after that nice big drink last night! No signs of increased nutrient burn I am fairly sure. CC has the tips but she was exhibiting that before last night. I am either not watering enough or the absorbalight is way to strong.
I will water this week until I see a good bit of run-off. I have yet to do this and things (salts as they call them) may be getting a bit built up and am not sure I have pH issue. As careful as I have been about what I put in pH wise, always 5.8, I need to measure run off as well. Although, I did have some questions regarding the amount the soil is buffering... I did an experiment and high 7.7 and low 4.0 pH in resulted in pH 6.0 run off....
CC is 51 days old today! I looked up the advertised harvest time and they stated 70 days. I think she is almost on schedule, absolutely amazing! And here I did not think she would even survive!! I am hoping for about 30 or so more days and it's chopping time, oh boy!!!
