Thanks bro! I might just start flushing her with water only, but still unsure as of yet. She’s been getting fed overdrive for like the past three weeks. I’m only supposed to use it for two. I could prob push it a little more with overdrive. But with this loupe and a crap camera it makes my life hell trying to inspect these trichs good enough. Digital microscope crapped out on me. Due to buy anotherAll looking great brother!!
I don’t always flush but it’s been something I’ve been trying out lately. I tend to just feed plain water for up to a week tops. No ph either. Fan leaves are mostly all yellowing because I cut her feed back a few weeks ago. She still has some green leaves from the undergrowth that didn’t get light from the top colas. I reckon I could pull most of her now but quite intrigued to let her go another while. But I really could be doing with the space. Most of the fan and sugar leaves have yellowed out. Overdrive tends to do that also though.Sometimes, it's hard to tell by the trichs IMHO. I usually use the fans as my gauge. The more they fade/die back the closer it is. Not always but most times. Then I kind of use my loupe to make the final judgements.
I usually "flush" too around the last week-ish. Not really flush like the controversial flush. But why waste the nutes is my motto? So plain water don't even PH it.
Overdrive takes them into another stage of flowering apparently. Helps push it further in terms of density, aroma, and potency. I have used it for two grows now and really like it. Once the buds seem to stop showing growth in size, I feed them overdrive and then the weight packs on again and helps ripen. I’ve never had a deficiency my past two grows. I feed under 500 ppms every day and make sure to get plenty of run off. I use to get burns and defiencies in soil a lot until I switched to coco. I ended up binning 4oz of jammy Dodgers from mold. Thankfully my purple nuggets is fine, and so was 3Wok. Heart breaking having to do thatI've been recently trying to get them to fade more before chopping. The couple of plant I limped over the finishline because of deficiencies have turned out better than some plants I babied and tried to keep "alive" the whole grow.
