Dutch Passion Mr Jorilla Ganjamoto Dewly goes all AutoFrisian.

It also drastically changes the pH probably affecting nute uptake(don't know if the Bio is that diff from the inorganic from)

Again thanks INH. Yeah knowing the properties of inorganic silicon I decided to pH test and the pH was if I remember 7.1 which was adjusted allowed to stand and retested... (I don't usually bother pH testing the Biobizz nutrient range it's normally spot on for my base filtered water).

I think this girl is just a little overly sensitive.

I'll have to do a little bit of reading into the properties of organic bound silicon....

cheers.

Mr ganjamoto is pleased to announce he has springtails in his underplants....

Day 33 ( I think)

Whilst most young thrusters are out perusing the young ladies in the local bars and night spots Mr Jorilla ganjamoto has been giving his young ladies a new home....

A lovely new Homebox XXL

The Secret Jardin DR120 was getting a bit crowded and we all know that young ladies generally like a little space to stretch out and relax and the biggest bedroom possible in the house.... Rather than simply getting the old DR300w out I thought I'd treat them to a nice white and shiny sparkly thing.... A bit of bling...

The young girls have older sisters who are developing rather nicely....

These girls should now reach their full potential now they have a bit of breathing space...

More to follow... Sooooon.

Mr Jorilla ganjamoto.

Day 33 (I think) continued...

This is Anouska the young lady who entered puberty the earliest (centre of shot) her taller sisters are to the right of her they are about a foot taller but not so well developed...

Day 37 (ish)

A close up of Anouska....

She's beautiful, a petite perfectly formed (forming) young lady...

Though I'm raising her to be a BBW....

You may notice a little reddening of the leaf stems... a little bit of rouge for the lady... the question is: Nitrogen deficiency or one of the rare pink/purple geno/phenotypes...?

Hi Jorilla ... Mr Jorilla ^_^

It doesn't look like N def to my eyes - i often see a slightly red stem but think nothing of it. Your leaves are too dark green for me to suspect N.

On the left hand plant though - it's probably just the way the light hits it but the leaf on the right about half way up your filter, and one above that facing the camera are looking like they might be saying something. :)

Just my thoughts, your last grow was awesome and i suspect this one will rock too! ^_^

Hi BLUE* The leaves were looking a bit pale and I upped the feed.... Which has brought a nice green colour back to Anouska... and I'm hoping she really is a pink/purple lady!

The taller lady to the left (Daniella) does indeed have a bit of discolouration (Well spotted).. in part I believe to the Bio-silicon episode discussed earlier.. She is a little bit temperamental and has also had a bit of a reaction to a fairly dilute foliar feed.... (I like to push my girls to the limit)... No worries though all three are coming along nicely and am sure will reward me in abundance...

Happy growing

Jorilla, Mr Jorilla.

Yeah Jorilla, Mr Jorilla ^_^

I know that YOU know what you're doing! ;)
I certainly wasn't trying to teach grandma to suck eggs hehe

I have a chart in an album on my profile which shows deficiencies and i always like to check to try and nail it into my overly forgetful brain :)

Hi BLUE*

I know that you know that I know that you know that we both know what we do know and that is what we're doing..

I'm always open to any positive suggestion/feedback.... sometimes with great skill (does that sound big headed?) comes an attitude of complacency which we all need to avoid...

It's also an aim to put up photo's when things aren't optimal and get feedback even if I do know what the actual cause is so that other possibly less experienced growers can see that even experienced growers do make mistakes and it's ok to make mistakes as long as one learns from the experience....

I love this forum all the folk I've come across seem to be very positive and nurturing, willing to genuinely help and guide.... unlike some other forums where the users seem to want to boost their self esteem by ridiculing and belittling other members... And you Blue* seem to be one of the most helpful and knowledgeable....

By the way It would be Grandpa not Grandma sucking the eggs.... :)

Overly forgetful brain! is it blonde under the blue?

Jorilla, Mr Jorilla

Day 38 (ish)

As Blue* correctly pointed out one of the girls namely Daniella is suffering from a bit of leaf discoloration due to a overly sensitive reaction to application of Bio-silicon I believe.

View attachment 243413

The shot below shows some minor scorching from a foliar feed applied, the lights were raised and the spraying was done about an hour before lights out, the TD's which were also given the foliar feed were not adversely affected.

View attachment 243414

Daniella's leaf tips are also showing signs of minor overfeeding unlike her sisters. Daniella should really be flushed through but 60 litres of filtered pH adjusted water seems a bit too much of an effort at the moment.

I'm happy with her new growth so I really think she'll come good in the end....

Comments as ever always appreciated

Mr Jorilla ganjamoto.
