Grow Mediums Mom's Autocob, Autoflower, Autopot Grow

If I use CoCo, why would like like to use it in that?

If you use Voodoo Juice or a something like Recharge or Great White to add beneficial mycorrhizae then it will feed these in coco as well. Also, your plants will eat the sugars themselves and put on bud weight, so I would definitely look at a sugar supplement. I used Bud Candy in my last grow, same idea.

Ok thanks. I do use the voodoo Juice. Looks like all I need now is a new grow. Though I am stoked about my current grow :)

Total marketing.
Look at "myth busters" thread, I was writing about this.

"All those specialty "Bud enhancers" are snake oil. Everything the plant needs is already in your nutrients, adding more does nothing but increase the chance of excess salts build up. They put some form of nutrient in all of these to prevent them being sued, as they can say then " but it has what plants need".........

A little molasses is good for feeding microlife in organic soil. I doubt there's much life in other mediums when running high EC. "

Plants cannot and do not take in sugars added to the soil, they have no mechanism to transport molecules that large. They do feed microlife in the soil, IF used sparingly. sugars sold as " bud cany" etc, are total bullshit foisted on unknowing growers. You nutrient company wouldn't lie to you would they???............ only when it makes their piggy bank go Cha Ching.......

Totally agree with you pops, plants take up nutes and convert them into energy(sugar)to feed the growth and flowering stages of a plants life its that simple, same as the guys that think flushing gets rid of excess nutes in your plants, all they are doing is starving there girls when they need it most, there leaves go yellow because the poor plant is sucking the energy from them to feed the buds anyway

Nosias:

This statement is true if you are running a "Sterile" grow otherwise you do establish an ecosystem of life around your roots even if you do not add microsomes or fungi and they can benefit from a little sugar. This stands for any type of grow, DWC, rockwool or Coco. The thing about Nutrient systems is they add other components to each product, do not tell you what it is so there can be no learning associated with their use. My last two runs were with House & Garden's complete system. I had a real PH problem consequently I had a big Cal-Mag problem. Which H&G product do you boost to solve that ??????????? I am going back to Dyna-Gro. They tell you exactly what is in each product and what to use it for. Never had a wild PH swing using it. I am going to add two things not in their line H&G Algen Extract and AN Flawless Finish. The Algen Extract will add to the flavor of the finished product and the Flawless Finish will leach out any excess salts in the final flush.

Ok everyone, lets respect MassMom thread and move this conversation into the soil, fert or a dedicated thread. We could go on for months debating the best way to feed and grow. Thanks for understanding.

I have been thinking...since it is my first real coco grow and I am already nervous...I am going to stick to just AN voodoo juice, cal/mag, grow and bloom. The AN cal/mag is 4-0-0 so it will be ok during grow phase, but I will pick up another cal/mag before bloom. I also noticed the B52 is 2-1-4 so I will leave it out.

Then subsequent grows I can start adding more things. K.I.S.S.!!!
