Grow Mediums Mom's Autocob, Autoflower, Autopot Grow

Mom shyte happens! It just does. Thanks for sharing and I am not laughing at you but your description of what happened painted a very funny picture in my head
:funny::laughcry::bubbles::funny:

Hey Massmom, just caught up with your grow, looks great! Happy birthday!!! :bday:

I'm in Western MA and using autopots and autocobs as well. Just finished my first successful grow and was it ever a success, harvested a pound off four plants. One plant was a half pound by itself, this system really does work if you get it dialed in! Links to my grow show and setup thread are in my sig. I managed to kill a batch before I had a successful run and I'll warn you now that first batch I used a coco brick instead of the pre-expanded stuff and that i think was a part of the problem. Those bricks you need to expand them, rinse them, and maybe soak it in pH'ed water, 'charge' them with Cal-Mag, and a bunch of stuff that is already taken care of with the premium bagged coco. To be fair I also screwed up the chemistry and wasn't ph'ing properly so it was a lot my fault, but I still blame the brick!!!!

See you around and keep up the good work! You've got one lucky daughter!

Happy birthday! You are like a fine bottle of wine, getting better every day. I did the fifty thing a couple years ago. Its all just ink on paper

Thank you sweetie!!! Nice to "meet" you. I am VERY close to western mass...I go to Greenfield all the time. Yeah, I just do NOT DIG this pre soak swelling coco crap. I am going to empty out the pots and go find me some pre bagged stuff. I hear there is a great grow store in Northampton..I might go check it out. I just dont get a good feeling from these bricks..then again, using coco at all scares the heck out of me. I am going to go check out your grows now, thank you for inviting me to.
BTW....I dont know..."sour livers" sounds doomed from the start, LMAO.
:crying:

LATER THAT EVENING: Going through your posts and enjoying them.
Triple Automatic: a grow using autocobs with autopots and automatic flowers.
They should start a new section within AFN: TRIPLE AUTO for all of us doing autopots, autocobs, and autoflower. I LOVE IT.

Sweetie. Only 50? You are a babe and do not forget it.

Happy Birthday

ONLY 50, YUCK. I saw gray hairs this morning. Good thing I am blonde, people will just think they are light blonde. But mom knows they are there, GRRRRRR
:yoinks:

Thank you hon....but I can start to see all the wrinkles and gray stuff starting to happen....and in my mind I still feel 20! My son reminded me today that I am now old enough to go onto the "old people dating site" OurTime.com OMG :nono:

Tonight I vacuumed and sprayed down the tent, so I figured I would take out the ladies for their first ever "out of tent pics"

My runt Louise has turned into my largest plant. (She is also the one with a breeze blowing up her skirt) I noticed that her pot has been continuously VERY heavy compared to Thelmas. Does a plant with an airdome take up more water?? Or is it that a larger plant takes up more water?? Or is she larger because she is GETTING more water...hmmmmmm. questions, questions. So....I did a little experiment. I switched the girls into each-others base. I want to see if maybe its the other aquavalve having an issue. I will keep an eye on them, and see what happens. I also changed the tubing arrangement on the pots. I have one line coming from the res to a splitter...then the same exact length of tubing going from the splitter to each girl. (instead of one girl being first in line and the next girl last in line.)

AND OH....I had to give cat a bath. Coco has not gotten off to a good start in MOM's house.

looks like your girls transitioned to flower really well. mine are taking forever. i even put them in the dark for 2 times for 12 hours each. and also 24 hours but nothing. not sure why. maybe its the low RH or some cooler temps in the tent. its def been longer than the genetics call for so must be pilot error.
