Grow Mediums Mom's Autocob, Autoflower, Autopot Grow

What can I do to help my ladies achieve some height?

***I wish I knew what to do. I am happy with the volume they provide me. 17" is not big, but they are dense and bulky.***

My grows always look like “dwarf” versions. ** so are mine. ***

My last grow I blamed it on LST...but I am not doing LST this grow. Right now they look like tiny little Christmas trees.

Do I have my lights to close when they are babies? ** other with cobs can answer that. ***
Am I giving bloom nutes too soon? ** I am giving them bloom 10-14 days after the get their grove on, I mean when I see the trichomes. I want them to stretch as much as possible. But then I give them the bloom and watch them thicken. **

How do some people get such tall autos that are busting out of their tents? ** I want what I can use. Monsters are always about size. Size is great if you need a lot of weed. It is a real bearcat when they need to harvest. Grow what you grow. Size can come with experience or it just happens. Your lights maybe to low and intense. You could use CFL and watch them get big. Others can add more than I ***
is there an ancient secret to this?? ** if there is a secrete then AFN members will be happy to tell you. Just remember it may get what you wish for :p
THANKS DARLIN!....i should just be thankful they germed and are growing. Slow down mom....(ha ha)

UPDATE: DAY 51 or so, ha ha

All ladies doing great. Girls are still on GH micro/grow/bloom, temp around 77 degrees, and lights on 20x4. I think I might have done a boo boo giving them a little taste of big bud the other day out of the blue. Kinda looks like nute burn on some of the girls leaves. Im not that worried at this point though...live and learn, eh?

I am surprised at my "runt" Louise. (plant on left) She has actually become the largest and strongest plant of the bunch. She just started to show her flowers the other day (?) and she is so big and lush compared to her two sisters. 24" as of today, and her branches are so large and strong. One determined branch from the bottom right said "screw this" and curled around to the left changing direction and has grown over 13". Little sucker is reaching over and up up up to the cob light. Her base stem is much thicker also. She is the only one with an airdome...maybe that is why??

She is my favorite. (shhhhhhh dont tell the others!!!!)

OK, since I only had canna coco bricks and wanted to start my next grow with a dry pot, I hydrated the bricks today, filled (2) autopots, flushed the heck out of them, and I am going to put them in the tent on the "baby side" to start drying out. Once again, only 1 pot has an airdome. (I only have 2...guess I should get 2 more!) These pots have no clay pebbles, no perlite, no additives, and no root control disks....nothing~ just coco. I also cleaned (2) plastic cups in preparation for humidity domes. Cant wait until my seeds come in. I'm getting (2) Gorilla OG Autos and (3) Glueberry OG Autos. Maybe I will attempt (1) of each....merry christmas to MOM!
Darn cat.

FYI: No more hydrating coco bricks for me. Lets just say I was wiping coco off my ceiling. Dont ask.

I agree, no more coco bricks. I did it out side and it was a mess. keep up the reporting and keeping us involved.

I hope to but a smile on your face. Here was one plant from my last harvest. It was 7" inches tall and 75 days old. It does carry a big kick. :)

Oh @MassMom you've got to tell me about the coco bricks. That's what I have but I also have a large tote with lid that I will be hydrating in. If you look at my outdoor grow I had some small bonsai girls. But it's a learning experience and the little bit I got was some good smoke. I can only try to do better next time.

OK, so I hydrated 2 bricks in my large tote. Had it under control. went great. yippee!
Then I placed a pot in the sink, filled it with coco and did a flush...just in case there was any salt or naughties in the coco. I was really pounding it with water when a knick-knack up on a shelf next to the sink for what ever reason (ghosts?) FELL into the damn pot. BOOM! wet, sticky yucky coco went EVERYWHERE~on the ceiling, on my kitchen window, all over me, in my toaster, in my beta tank...you name it, coco hit it. Im still picking it off my cat!!!
:face:

Next time Im getting a dry bag and just dumping it into the pot. Leave it to me, sigh.
Bad karma already for my next grow??? Im telling you, after today this next grow better be Epic!
:crying:
