Grow Mediums Mom's Autocob, Autoflower, Autopot Grow

ok, here is a question. is the tray supposed to fill and drain? my trays have always been full of water....i dont know, something just doesnt seem correct. I just checked out this thread and it sounds like mine, maybe i should check all the valves and stuff. the only issue with that is, i have no idea what they are supposed to look like or do in the first place. soooooo i googled and found THIS SITE on how the aquavalve works. dahm...i never saw any of this the last week. no ebb and or flow for me. all I saw was water in the tray and under my plants the whole time. i never saw anything fill, then get dry, then fill...my poor ladies.
after work tomorrow i will take apart system and investigate.

THANK YOU SO MUCH friends for all of your help; and suggestions

is your res level down from when u filled it at first? that is maybe a good way to validate whether its working.

okies, so ladies look so much better today after I top fed with a liter each of tap water and gh micro bloom.

i will just keep hand watering them for now until harvest, then figure out more what is going on with the autopots before I start a new grow. you guys are the best, thanks for the support

It could be locked by air bubbles. Im not sure if the valves have a way to purge them. Is you res higher than the valves?
yes, my res is about 2 feet off the ground sitting on a table next to the tent. when i turn on the res i see the water flowing down through the clear tubing, and the trays fill.(i ran out of the black tubing and am using regular aquarium filter clear tubing) it just seems like the water is not wicking up...or the plants are not drinking.

res never moved. sigh.
ok plants are looking good you said. This is what they will do if they only needed watering to perk them up. Job well done. If the res did not move lower than I would not worry. Just say ah heck. I would wait until you harvest before tackling the problem. As problems are simply solutions not yet found.

It is all good.

Also, it is not a good idea to use the clear tubing for the water lines. It is good to use for air lines :) The clear tubing could cause growth in the line. I know it is another expense. Well worth it. have a good evening with the family :smiley1::bump::vibes:
