Outdoor Moby Dick XXL

Btw the yellowing of the fan leaves is going crazy fast now... :-( today the last 2 big fan leaves started to turn yellow, now also the smaller fan leaves start to turn yellow.

With big fan leaves I mean the ones that are growing straight out of the main stem. The smaller ones are the ones growing from the stems that contain buds (but not the short ones growing straight out of the buds, if that makes sense).

I hope this is still normal.. I already increased the nutrients to 4ml/l and with this heat + evaporation I would be amazed if it’s not getting enough nutes. I also don’t want to go much higher since we are getting closer to harvest.

The yellowing of the fans is natural at this late stage and does not require more n or u could get nute burn, the buds look great on that girl, just need to ride it out now pal.:2cents:

I doubt it needs nutrients man the leaves will yellow and die off at this stage naturally. I personally would take yellow leaves off by hand so the energy it would use cannabilizing the leaves goes to bud production you should be good to go :D

Day 65: So I have a “professional” microscope, but to look at the leaves a need to cut a part of, so I did.. but what I saw confuses me a little bit. The while the transparent trichromes did not even go cloudy yet, I can spot several that look already amber in color. How strange is that?

Here the pictures:

loving the trichome pics mate...they'd sit well in a book/magazine.

From what i've learnt it's down to personal preferance...maybe take a small sample bud? See what you think.
