Indoor Moby dick Xxl and Amare tech LEDs

I don't know how I missed this journal till now, got my priorities straight and am properly subbed now. :pop: :vibe::pop: I am totally impressed with my 450 just with the monochromes on, the veg. growth rate versus MH is very noticeable. I'm starting on a new room in a pole building today. First step is to run a couple 110 circuits 120' underground. How many circuits/amps do you have run to your room?
Have you followed my grow room build Pepe? It's fun to document it as you go and it sounds like your in the same boat I was in not to long ago. This thread was a last minute thing. I had started it when the plants were already growing a little so it's not 100% up to date yet. If you have time or want to check out the build let me know ill link you to it. I also started from scratch. Power was a little issue, my grow is 150 feet from my house and I already had a 60 amp running to the side of my house for a garage I'm building. I just stole it for this. Length of wire affects the final amperage a little with losses over long distances.

I was going to pull from two unused 20 amp lines in the basement out to the pole building. After studying it a bit, I'm just going to pull straight off the houses 200 amp box out the back of the box into some pvc conduit to the ground. I need a trencher... Using a spade is gonna suck. I read your build journal a while back, it gave me the idea to do this. I've got to figure out how to get water out there too.

I didn't really get into the specifics and now wish I did. I own a kubota loader but didn't have a backhoe so believe it or not Home Depot here rents a little mini ex. 150 for 4 hours. What I did was rent it and bury 1 inch conduit for power which was a 4 strand aluminum wire and burried pex with a 2 inch conduit for protection. Pex won't pull through conduit so I had to run each piece as I unrolled it. Code requires them to be 4 feet apart but I don't really see the reasoning so I cheated. Power and water don't mix but burying underground feeder cable gets wet anyways and they are both in conduit.

Little shot of Moby. She is turning out to be a pretty nice looking plant. A lot of growing to do but impressive so far.

She is one thirst girl. Going super heavy on the nutes and she gets it daily. 2 gallons at 1400 ppm. She doesn't seem to mind one bit.

Can't wait for summer to be over. Just opened another $700 electric bill. My Ac needs to go in storage and install the exhaust fan again. 150 watts vs 1500 watt Ac and a 1700watt dehumidifier that never shut off.

Well guys I really think I came up with a sweet invention that has to do with watering. Hand watering actually. If I figure out how to patent it all the hand waterers will be loving me and not to mention I will finally be a full time pot grower collecting checks from amazon and eBay. Any ideas?

Hey if you're into inventing I need a hand free bong cleaner. $700 ouch I'm trying to get down to $150 I pay $180 now. I'm thinking I'll grow mostly photos in the summer, just to keep lights on at night. I think the inputs for autos may be a bit more than photos.

That's a great idea. Get a photo veg going and once the summer heat starts flip them to 12/12.

Before I started growing with just my wife my bill was always below 50 now with 2 little ones running around it shot up to 100. Summer it tents to hit 150 with my house minisplits but the additional is definitely from my room.

I had a less efficient window unit which died so instead dropping 2grand on a mini I went with another window unit for 400. Now I'm paying for it. I don't plan on running a sealed room of air outside of this summer heat so it would have been a waste.

As for Moby she is really starting to stretch and add some size. Amazing growth
